5 Makeup Tricks To Look Younger Instantly

By Nina Ubhi

Summary

## Key takeaways - **Depuff Eyes with Patches**: As I've gotten into my 40s, I've transitioned to depuffing eye products like Pixi Beauty DetoxifEYE patches that dry up slowly, absorbing goodness into the skin to reduce under-eye puffiness that makes you look older. [00:45], [01:28] - **Brighten Shadows Strategically**: Use a concealer half to one shade lighter than your skin tone on under-eyes, smile lines, sides of nostrils, and under lower lip line upward for lifting; this pairs brightness with lift to illusion a youthful look without heavy coverage. [03:09], [09:01] - **Contour Jawline Straight**: Apply concealer contour beneath the jawline creating a straight line—not following natural sagging shape—to sharpen and snatch it, avoiding temples to prevent hollowing; blend into neck for shadow effect. [14:20], [15:29] - **Blush by Face Shape**: For roundish faces like mine, apply blush high on upper cheekbone to lift and slim; for gaunt faces, focus on apples to plump and round cheeks, using a color similar to your lip shade. [21:44], [23:13] - **Accentuate Eyes Minimally**: Apply matte eyeshadow slightly lighter than skin tone to inner corner area to open eyes; add subtle metallic cream shadow (like Kevyn Aucoin in Blazed Up) to center lash line, not full lid, with lengthening mascara. [29:28], [31:16] - **Enhance Natural Lip Color**: Line lips with liner deeper than skin tone like Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Nude, then top with clear plumping gloss like Dior Lip Maximizer to accentuate natural flush without bold dark shades that age thin lips. did you know that you only need five makeup tricks to make you look younger instantly well I'm going to be showing you today exactly how I do those five tricks so that I look a little bit more

useful less tired bit more lifted and yeah everything that you want when you're trying to look a little bit more younger so as you can see I do have some eye patches on underneath my eyes I'm

going to explain to you why quickly cuz this makes a huge difference and this is like a bonus Tri that I'm giving you I don't know about you guys but I've

realized that as I have gotten older I am definitely suffering with more puffiness I never used to deal with puffiness when I was younger it was all about the hollow oness like I wanted to

kind of like get those Hollow under eyes filled and just I wanted them to look plump but as I've gone into my 40s I've seen that I get a lot more puffiness on the under eyes like I'll wake up one day

and it's just like CRA like some days are worse than others and it's just like super puffy on the under eye area I've kind of transitioned into more depuffing eye products and one of them that I've

been using recently which I really love is the pixie Beauty detoxify depuffing eye patches these are great they kind of

dry up slowly over time like I just I leave them on for however long I have even if they don't fully dry up you know it's still something that I've applied that's going to help to depuff it but if I am like prepping

way earlier than what I need to actually be ready then I'll put them on in the morning and let them just fully dry out and literally after like an hour or so they're not there's no kind of liquid here at all it's just fully dried out

and your skin just absorbs all of that goodness so you get 30 in here and I like this way better than most of the eye patches you get because most of them are in singular kind of sachet so

expensive for what you get this literally just get the whole tub you've got 30 pairs in here is great so I just wanted to share that with you quickly so I've had these on for a little while

well not as long as I usually wear them but I just wanted to kind of like show you so I'm going to take these off but I have got a lot of the kind of serum still there so all I do with any

leftover Serum is I just kind of smooth that around the area because it's almost like an eye cream if I've let it fully dry out then I tend to still apply my eye cream but if I've still got the

serum around here I don't feel like I need to apply eye cream so let me just explain what we're working with today firstly I'm wearing a hoodie because it is so cold even with all the lights I'm feeling a bit chilly so I'm just I just

thought you know I'm just going to keep the hoodie on secondly I do have a little bit of concealer on my eyelids and my brows are done everywhere else there's nothing there so let's talk

about the first trick shall we the magic of concealer now when you have a bit of Darkness on certain areas or you feel like it could be pigmentation issues or it could just generally be something

that you don't don't even know what to call all you know is it's just tend like it just looks a bit darker in certain areas and that doesn't necessarily mean pigmentation such as like Darkness on

your skin but you just feel like you're seeing more shadows in certain areas what that is as you're getting older is that certain areas lose the plumpness

and therefore it kind of goes in a little bit and that causes more of those shadows in certain areas now this Darkness paired with pigmentation or

Darkness on on the actual skin can actually make you look older so the Shadows can end up enhancing things like fine lines and wrinkles and just generally make you look older so

applying concealer A Certain Shade by the way and also applying it in strategic areas on the face can actually help you to kind of give the illusion of a more youthful look but also help with

lifting so what we're kind of doing here is we're pairing the brightness with the lifting and those two things brought together will give you a really nice youthful look I just want to say that

when I'm talking about using a slightly brighter concealer I'm not talking about like look like you know looking like you got super white under eyes like I'm not talking about that kind of brightness you've got to be very clever with the

level of brightness that you choose for your skin tone now what I am suggesting as part of this trick when it comes to the brightness and the lifting is choose

a concealer which is a very very like very small amount lighter than your skin tone so I'm talking half a shade or one shade it really depends on the brand

that you're picking from so for example if you're going with a brand which has 30 concealers and an amazing shade range then it could be that you need to go like a shade lighter right or maybe even

two shades like but I would probably stick within half a shade and one shade or if you're going with a brand which maybe only has like 10 concealer Shades

then it could mean mixing two together so like because maybe you just there's that jump up to the next shade lighter than your skin the current like your concealer that you're using which is the

same color as your skin tone maybe that jump up to one shade lighter is way too light so it could be that you get that and you kind of like mix it in with your current one just to kind of lighten it a

very very small amount so I'm talking honestly minimal lightness to your concealer so please don't misunderstand what I'm saying here the brightness that

I'm talking about is a very very small amount like brighter than your skin tone and the lifting side of it is something we're going to do with the way that we actually apply the concealer so let's go

in with a concealer I'm going to pick one which is again a very in a very small amount like not super super light like basically what I'm trying to say is not too light for my skin I'm going to

go with the nas Ginger concealer because I feel like this isn't a crazy amount like lighter than my skin tone so this is just the right amount okay so a couple of things that you want to get

ready for this trip trick you want to use a beauty blender which is damp what that means is you've wet it it's doubled in size you've squeezed all the water out you've squeezed it again you've then

put a tissue around it you've squeezed it again and then it's got rid of all the excess water right that's the perfect prepped Beauty blender which is damp that's what I mean when I say damp

Beauty blender that's more or less all you're going to need for this you can use a brush if you want and if you do use a brush to blend I would suggest using the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood complexion brush but I'm going to be

using a sponge for this so now let's talk about where we're going to be applying this it's not about applying a lot of concealer it's really about being very clever with where you apply and how

much you apply and obviously picking the right shade like I mentioned so what we really want to do is get rid of these dark circles here as well as lifting so let me explain where I can see the darkness on myself obviously the under

eyes here a couple of other places that I tend to get a lot of Darkness that can end up making me look a bit older is around this area here the smile lines

going into the sides of the nostrils I feel like this area here is a bit of a it's a bit problematic for me cuz it's a little bit darker and it's also where you can end up getting that kind of

sagging there which can make you look older right so here here and on the under eyes here right those are my three key areas that I want to help to

brighten but also I want to lift at the same time so okay let's go ahead and apply this concealer where I want it now

applying too much concealer can also end up make end up making you look older so I don't want you to just go ahead and start trying to cover everything because

that's actually going to have a negative impact on what you're trying to do so as much as you're trying to make yourself look younger and look more youthful covering everything up with a whole load of concealer and something which is way

too heavy for your skin can I can in actual fact end up just making you look older anyway so be careful about the type of texture you pick as well like I'm picking something which is kind of medium coverage don't go for something

like tarte shaped tape because that isn't going to be the best thing for making you look younger it is quite thick it can enhance lines and there's a very specific way to apply this in a specific overall look that you need to

create in order to be able to use that and not look older so NZ radiant creamy concealer is for me so then we're just going to do a little Dash here right and this line here is going upward so that's

going to help with the lifting we're also going to address these areas here so we're going to just add a little bit here on the sides of the nostrils that's

targeting that little area there that I find tends to be quite dark and then what we're going to do just want to get some more concealer is we're going to go

underneath the lower lip line and we're going to go upwards like this now this line here is going in the same direction that this line is so what

that's doing is it's actually a very clever way to give the face this lifted effect because not only are you just doing it on one area you're doing it on two areas and what that does is working

on two areas simultaneously like it's kind of lifting the area kind of plays a little bit of a trick on your eye so you're not focused on just one area you've got the you've got that double

impact so you've got that kind of really nice lift and it's all going in the same area it really helps to just give that extra lift to the face so what this is also doing is helping to kind of like

brighten that darkness that I tend to have there so we're going to go in with my sponge now and this is where we're going to just press this in very lightly

it's actually pretty quick like you don't actually have to spend a lot of time there and we're keeping it in the same area I'm bouncing this sponge over it so

I'm not kind of moving it side to side obviously based on your own Darkness your own coverage that you're looking for you apply however

much concealer you would want so it kind of annoys me when I see people saying oh well that's way too much or that's not enough you know you have to do it according to your face what your

preferences are however much cover like whatever kind of coverage that you need what I apply on myself could be too much for you I'm I'm going to openly admit that it could be not enough for someone

else so it's really a case of like figuring out what works for you all I can do is show you one way I can't show you a million ways I can only show you one way it's up to you to get that technique right based on watching this

video but then going away and adjusting things you're like leveling it out so that it's perfectly a perfect fit for you right that's the best way to address this okay next we're going to go in to

this area here and we're kind of like doing the under eyes along with the side of the nostril here and that's going to just help to brighten the

area and also brighten that darkness that we get there can you see this brightness isn't overly white and obviously we haven't actually applied a foundation yet

so that's also going to help to kind of tone down the brightness a little bit there you go okay in the areas that I've applied

it I'm happy with that that has helped to brighten and also lit so that's really helped to kind of give us that initial youthful look so what we've done is we've addressed the skin

like the the the base layer before moving on to any other tricks that we could potentially do so this is kind of like setting the tone that's the best way to put it very quickly before we move on to the next trick we really want

to bring you even better content so I want my videos to be even better I want to be able to bring guests on that I can do their makeup and show you on different faces as well cuz currently I

only have my own to work on and I'd really love to also like kind of just improve the quality of the video and the setting and background everything for you guys so we would really appreciate

if you could hit that like button subscribe if you haven't already we've got some really awesome videos coming up soon so if you can hit the Bell button you're not going to miss any of them so

just very quickly I just wanted to address that with you guys let's now move on to the next trick which is the art of contouring now we're not going to go crazy with contouring I'm not talking

about contouring your whole face and you got lines everywhere really simple just the bits that really help to kind of like give that youthful look to your face so this is really going to help to

lift the face even further but not only lift it really kind of snatches the face you know that new facelift that everyone's getting and it's like we don't actually know what it is but it's

clearly a facelift right you know we're seeing the slbs everywhere they're just come they're just popping up with new faces and it just looks

mindblowing mind blowingly good right so what I'm going to do is show you with Contour how you can kind of get that snatch look and really kind of give yourself that youthful look but again we don't want to go crazy with a whole load

of product we just want it to be very minimal but we want it to do its job but we want it to be like we don't know what you've done but something's done and it looks good so that's what we're aiming

for so what I am going to be doing is using a concealer as my Contour you can use a cre cream product or cream Contour if you want I personally prefer using concealers and the one that I use is my

Nas radiant creamy concealer in Coco now the main area that I want to focus on is the drawline because realistically as you're getting older something that I've noticed and it is hereditary by the way

is the jow area here so you can get a little kind of like kind of drop here which is basically the sagging and that can be worse on some people it can be

not as bad on some people but it is something that is quite common as you get older now another thing that can be quite common is that your jawline just isn't sharp right it could be the jowling it could be something else I

don't know but it's just generally not as sharp or it could be that you know maybe you can't see a drawline as much right it's just not as visible as you'd like it to be so what we're going to do

here is we're going to really sharpen it up and just snatch it so this is what I'm going to do I've got my concealer here right this is my Contour that I'm working with what we're going to do is

go underneath the jawline so the jawline is around here from the end of the chin so from the chin the middle of the chin and it goes up towards the ear roughly right what we want to do is go

underneath now it's very easy to go wrong here because what you can end up doing is following your natural drawline and if your natural draw line based

on the lack of elasticity and sagging from your skin that drawline can end up look like it looks a bit more it's it's not straight right so it's kind of like going round and because of that lack of

elasticity you're kind of moving the brush or whatever you're using along and you're following the natural shape that you currently see what you're trying to actually correct so you don't want to follow your natural shape because what you're trying to do is actually

straighten it up a little bit so what we want to do first you want to make sure it is beneath the draw line that you're you're creating this line so we're going to go there and trying to create as

straight a line as I possibly could right so let's go here and that's why I didn't go all in one go cuz I know I have a slight dip here there you go that was great wasn't it so anyway so I'm

trying to create that line as straight as possible there you go now one other place I'm going to do this is just here but I'm honestly using

the smallest amount it's just a little Dash it's from the top part of the ear and it goes in so it's going in the same direction do you remember we did this and we did that there it was just two things I want to have two sections I'm

contouring but I don't want to work on the temples here because the temple area starts to hollow out as you get older so I don't want to apply any Darkness there which is then further going to make it look Hollow we want to keep this as

plump as possible we're going to leave it we're not going to apply any Contour there so we're going to apply it here and we're going to apply it here and that's going to create a very slight like kind of cheekbone area it's going to just sculpt it a little bit but

mainly it's it's because again working on two places at the same time gives a better illusion now this is where we are going to be working with a brush so I've got my Charlotte chry Hollywood complexion brush we're going to work on

this area here we're just going to go back and forth and then we're going to go down into the draw line into the neck

sorry because we want it to blend in we don't want it to look like just a random line we want it to blend in so it look looks like a shadow see how that's like

now a gradient effect right so now it's blending into the neck and it's just giving it more of a shadow as opposed to anything else and the shadow is what we're trying to create so we're going to do the same thing

here there you go that's nice and snatched see how that's just snatched it immediately now here again we applied a very small

amount that's enough see we applied such a small amount but the minute you start blending it spreads now that we've done that in order to finish this I just want to apply a little bit of foundation but I'm

going for the honestly such a light Foundation I'm going to actually use a skin tint you don't need to apply a whole load of foundation so I'm going to use my Ilia super serum skin tint SPF 30

in this is papaia if that's how you say it I'm going to just apply a bit of this to the back of my hand like that I've got

my sponge I'm going to drag a bit of this buff it into the sponge first and we're going to start from the top and we're just going

to work our way down now because this is a very light coverage it's like a tint it's not like

full coverage or anything it's going to allow all this concealer to kind of do its job all that kind of Contour that we've done the lifting that we've done

is still going to kind of be able to work well without being fully covered up by a kind of like full coverage foundation

and also I do feel that you know for a more youthful look you really do want to use a lighter coverage Foundation you don't need as much Foundation as you

think you do so there you go we've gone over the whole face but I feel like it doesn't look flat right so what this has done is given us that nice even finish to the skin because otherwise it would

look a little bit patchy based on where we've applied concealer and the areas that we applied Contour but now it looks uniform it's flowing it's just a bit

more kind of it's more cohesive the whole look is just coming together now slowly right so it's a veil of color as opposed to a veil of coverage good way

to put that a veil of color as opposed to a veil of color coverage would help if I can say it okay so now what we want to do is move on to the next trick the

power of blush now your blush placement can either make you look older or younger it's honestly as simple as that but it all depends on your face shape so again I'm going to keep saying this over and over again because I don't want

people to think I'm saying this is how you do it exactly as I'm doing it now you do the exact same thing on yourself and it's going to work what I'm saying is you need to adapt it accordingly to your face shape

and to your skin tone as well and like the kind of coverage you need so how do we how do you adapt the blush technique that I'm going to show you so again I can only show you one technique right as

I'm working on myself but if you have a gaunt face so very kind of like like sucked in and and you know you maybe don't have a lot of weight around

your face and there's not a lot of kind of uh plumpness around your face you're lacking a lot of that and it's very kind

of like you know like maybe very like I said yeah I don't know how else to put this but if that's what your face shape and kind of like structure is like then

you want to make sure that you apply your blush you focus on applying it along the apples of the cheek because that's going to help to plump up the cheeks make them look a bit rounder

bring that kind of plumpness back into the skin whether you like it or not okay plumpness helps to make you look a little bit younger if you are trying to really make everything look really

sucked in you might get the lifting from that but it isn't necessarily youthful look like it isn't giving you that youthful look so if you are quite gaunt

then you want to make sure you bring back in that nice kind of plumpness into your skin so f focus on the apples of the cheeks because that's really going to help to round it all off and just add

some nice plumpness to there but if you have B like I don't know why that what what I said that I was like buzz I don't know what that was but if you do have a

roundish face such as myself then you want to focus on applying the blush along the upper part of the cheekbone because what you're lacking is maybe the lifting right and you want to help to

like slim the face at the same time so the the placement of the blush should be around this area if you are try if you have a roundish face so that's where I'm going to apply it so let me just go

ahead and apply some now I'm going to use the glossier cloud paint in puff so let me put this to the back of my hand

this is a really nice pink I would also recommend using a color which is like giving you that nice like healthy glow a quick little tip from me is pick a blush

color which is very similar to your lip color that's a really good way just in case you are unsure as to what blush color to go for like pick a color which is close to your like lip that fleshy

tone and it's going to be really useful looking on your skin that's just if you struggle with picking a color if you're good when it comes to picking your color you stick with what you like so I'm

using my hourglass 15 Brush I'm going into this blush I always keep a tissue here on my desk just to block off the product from the the brush because I don't want a whole load of product on my

skin now where I'm focusing on applying it is right up here so I'm really focusing on kind of like lifting the area by applying it up

here and again if you have more of a gaunt face or very skinny I'd recommend the apples of the cheeks to really round off the cheeks but when you have a roundish face

and you're really trying to lift and also slim at the same time then this is a really good placement there you go okay so now what we're going to do is

set all of this I'm just going to get this quickly done so we can move over to the next trick now while I'm doing this bit I'm going to show you something another extra little bonus thing for you so you guys know I use my Huda Beauty

easy bake in banana bread right to set everything but recently she just launched the UB if that's how you say it the Uub I don't know why I'm saying it in a really weird way the Uub Birthday

Cake Powder I didn't think I was going to like it cuz it's like this like kind of neon is pink but applying it in this way looks really nice I'm just going to show you this quick like little tip but

okay we're going to focus on the under eyes right I've got this H Beauty Powder Puff here so I'm going to use this cuz I've already used it in here I am first off going to make sure there is no creasing on my under eyes let me just

get rid of any creasing and then I'm going to dip in to this pinkish powder right I'm going to press this I did not think I was going to like this and I

actually love it there you go right I apply that to the under eyes that's the only place I apply it I get my veil brush I dip into

my normal banana powder and I press this and everywhere else on the face then I get my Real Techniques brush and I just get rid of the powder that I

apply to the under eyes and what I found that this does is it just gives me that extra kind of like flush look just along this area here and weirdly it doesn't it

doesn't make the actual under eye look so pink it just kind of focuses on this area even though I applied it on my under eyes it's really weird try it let me know what you think you don't have to

use that specific powder you could use a different pinkish powder but I am just wanted to share that cuz it works really well for me can you believe there is nearly

600,000 of you that is mindblowing honestly nearly 600,000 of you have subscribed this to this channel I honestly sometimes I look at it and I'm

just like whoa how did this happen but it makes me so happy that you know you're loving all the educational content and while we're on that I do have an online magazine called the

beauty Breakfast Club it's this beauty community that we're growing and I want to see all you guys there there's nearly 600,000 of you guys why don't we get

even just like 10% of you would be great over to this beauty Community because obviously I would love to see all of you guys over there that would be absolutely

amazing and like it would be something that would just it would be such an honor to create such a community and be able to build on that but if you would

head over there I would really appreciate it the beauty Breakfast Club is a newsletter that you receive or you can see it on the actual website everything's there so you don't have to just wait for the newsletters they're

there for for you to see it's basically a magazine online everything is on there new beauty products that come out makeup and beauty product reviews drugstore

makeup recommendations high-end makeup recommendations hair recommendations like everything you want to know when it comes to the Beauty World like wellness selfcare we've got it covered

everything's written by me I give you my opinion on things I share products that I don't always get to share on this channel new releases you want to know what that new rare beauty product is like head on over there and we're going

to tell you so everything's on there there are two versions of subscription so you can either opt for the free one which gives you access to the occasional newsletter and then you can opt for the paid one which is roughly around getting

yourself like it's the equivalent of getting yourself a coffee a month and that gives you access to the entire site and you get a newsletter every other day you get access to everything plus you

get a chat room me and you can chat yeah whatever questions you have they get answered cuz I don't always get a chance with so many comments that come through on this channel but it's a really great

way to have that one-on-one interaction and by the way the community that's already there that we've built is so nice honestly everyone is so nice we all talk with one another we're in groups

together like they actually have an input into the things that I write about and there's the best way that I can put it it's a very inclusive community that

love beauty wellness and it's just generally very nice so I'd love to see you over there the next trick is accentuating the eyes so being very

clever with your application when it comes to your eye products can really help you to look a lot more youthful applying a ton of matte ey Shadow or a ton of like shimmery glitter is not

going to make you look youthful so these few little tricks that I'm going to show you are honestly so good when it comes to just giving you that youthful look and it opens everything up it like just

makes you look more awake less tired honestly it's a game changer we're going to use the makeup by Mario Master mattes neutral palette we're using number three

and my BK Beauty 202 brush we're going to use a lighter matte shade to open up the eyes we're going to use this along the inner Corner area you don't want to go old school and apply Shimmer there

because it's been done you don't need that there's there's clever ways to kind of do this which is what I'm going to show you so we're using matte 3 and what

we're going to do is really open up the area now the trick is is to go with a matte eyeshadow which is very slightly lighter than your actual skin tone so

it's kind of sticking to the skin tone but slightly brighter and then what we're doing is with this brush we're applying it just this whole area here we're not

focusing on just that little dot there we're focusing on this whole area and it really brightens it all up there you go that's it that's

done okay so this next part of accentuating your eyes is using a kind of a cream shadow which is a shimmer base so Shimmer finish to it like it doesn't have to I'm not talking glitter

right I'm not even talking anywhere close to glitter I'm talking about like a Sheen actually not even a shimmer a Sheen that's what you're looking for like a metallic which isn't overly crazy

metallic right I don't need to see my reflection in it so what I'm talking about is something like this will give you an example hopefully will work as an

example this is the Kevin OA cream foil eyeshadow and it's in blazed up this is a really good color and texture and finish so what we're going to do is

apply this to the back of the hand I would recommend going for the color which is like slightly warmer than your skin tone and when I say warmer I don't mean like orangey or terra cotta I'm

talking about like like it could be your skin tone but it has a metallic finish to it that still makes it stand out like on your skin tone or it can be a little bit deeper you know so I'm going to get

my finger I'm going to go into this and then all I'm going to do is touch my lash line not all the way across though guys not all the way across focus on the

middle that's it don't focus on applying it to your actual lid we're just focusing on that kind of

Center lash line you don't need to start rubbing it in or anything literally that is it that's all you're going to apply sometimes it is the most simple stuff that you do that

actually gives you a really stunning beautiful look and having that overall youthful look is about being very minimal with all the products you use you don't actually have to use a ton of

makeup and loads of like just coverage and thickness and layers you can keep it very natural let's add add some mascara

going to use my hourglass unlocked mascara I feel like you don't even need a lot of kind of like mascara with this look like I wouldn't go for anything too

thick and clumpy I'd stick to a lengthening mascara so I'm think that's just going to really enhance your lashes and just look nice and fluttery

you know I feel like that Shimmer on the Lash line just really I feel like it takes you that extra step towards the

youthfulness next trick is achieving youthful lips now the lip color that you choose can make a big difference on whether you look older or younger dark

lip colors tend to age us but at the same time going back to everything I've been saying throughout this video it is really based on what your natural lip is

like so for example if you have quite plump lips anyway a dark lip may not age you as much as what it would Age you if you had very thin lips so you can get

away with it but it's still going to age you a bit right so bottom line is dark a dark lip is going to age you a bit but if you quite full lips probably not as much if you have quite thin lips it's

going to age you significantly if your aim is to look younger more youthful then I'd stay away from Bold dark lips otherwise go for it I would recommend sticking to Colors which are just a

little bit warmer than your natural lip color so your natural flushy lip go for something which is a little bit warmer than that a little bit deeper than that you can go just a step further with it

right so I wouldn't go lighter in the sense that it's like much lighter because it can look a bit pasty on the skin and just look wrong a really good way to do this because otherwise it can

feel like a bit of a chore having to try and find the right perfect lip color that is just a little bit you know warmer than your natural lip color everyone has a different kind of color

so a really good way to do this is stick to your natural lip color why you trying to cover it up just stick to it so what we're going to do is use a lip liner first but your lip liner should be a

little bit deeper than your skin tone right that's the rule of thumb here go for a lip liner which is a little bit deeper than your skin tone so the one that is perfect for me is the Charlotte

chobby lip cheat in iconic nude it's basically my skin tone but deeper now I'm going to just line the lips very lightly trust me the color of your lips

makes a big difference as to whether it looks youthful or not now that I've lined them I quite like my natural lip color but I do want to accentuate it a little bit more like just kind of give it a bit

of or whatever you want to call it this is where I basically use my standard lip balm or like whatever I use on my lips this is my dual lip maximizer in 001

it's the transparent one and it's also a collagen booster so I apply that and over time it's going to basically plump up my lips just a little bit with which obviously

is going to help to just make it look a bit youthful anyway but also I'm not trying to I'm not trying to like hide my lip color with something else or trying to recreate it you don't need to recreate it when you already have it so

I am just trying to kind of like add that natural look to my whole look right by keeping my fleshy lip color but just enhancing it I hope you've enjoyed all

of this please just remember that the goal is when it comes to applying makeup in general or just trying to become or look a bit more use ful is to enhance

your natural beauty as opposed to try and mask it so hopefully these tricks have shown you that you're really kind of like working with what you have but you're enhancing it you're not trying to

cover everything up and put a ton of makeup on so I really do hope this has helped you to just understand it a little bit better too so don't forget that all the products are listed in my description you can head on over there's a whole load of discount codes you might
