HOLLISTER INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS- FROM A HOLLISTER EMPLOYEE (tips and tricks 2021)

hey guys welcome back to youtube channel i am back after one month because i've gone up with school lol and i am here i'm here with alexis and this is my best friend and she works at hollister

and so we're gonna be making two videos we're gonna be making about what the interview process is like and how to answer the questions because she obviously got the job so she knows what to do and then we're gonna make another one about like what it's like working there your first week so start the letter of my

sort of what i did with my duncan videos but with hollister with alexis i also would like to shout out to the person ending this video which is hayden piranda and i'll put his stuff down below

he went to middle school with me and damn girl you grew up he is editing this because he's good at editing

i don't know what this is but it's kind of hot so shout out to him down below if you want him to edit your videos or anything so let's just get into the

video and i'm just gonna be asking her so she told me the questions that i'm gonna be asking for them and how she answered them correctly because she's good at that stuff so all right the first question alexis

this is like the talk show guys like a talk show okay what do you wear to the interview okay so they're gonna have to cut them what i wore to the interview was i wore

like a whole outfit from hollister because like it shows that you're really like not like involved it shows you actually like their clothes and like you want to actually work there because you wear their clothes

so i wore basically like a sweater kind of like this and then i wore mom jeans from holster then i wore just like solid gray slip-on vans because you know you don't want to wear shoes that are too

like you know catchy or like your your eyes are drawn to them you want to make sure that your outfit is not like too fancy but not like too casual just like something that you would wear if you

worked at hollister basically is what you should wear to the interview scholarly the next question is what do you do if someone asks you can we find a pair

of jeans girl so basically if you're shopping for jeans at hollister and someone asks you like oh can you help me get jeans you're going to want to ask them like if they know their size and if they

don't then you would probably want to like estimate their size and like ask them if they consider themselves to be tall or short because there's like tall short and then like the regular

like height and then um you would ask them like if you want skinny or mom jeans like what style of jeans basically and then you ask them if they want like light wash medium wash

dark wash or black or like white or whatever color they want and then after that you ask them i forgot

oh and then you also ask them like if they want like distressed or like just regular like because some jeans are like they look like they've been worn a couple times before like they've actually

been worn like they have like the more i'm trying to like i know i think people know like the more worn look you know and then you would ask them if you want like rips or no rips

all right but that's and i know so you guys know how to answer that question make sure you leave out the i forgot for it okay the person in the interview is going to be like hey why'd you in the

outfit you have to tell them so what did you tell them when they asked you that i told them that i wore that outfit because when i told them i wore the sweater i was like oh well i wore the sweater because it's like

fall outside and like you know sweaters are really cute to wear in fall and really trendy and you know they're not like too warm and not too cold or whatever and then i also told them that i wore

the mom jeans because i really like mom jeans and like they're comfortable and they're like in style okay um all right yeah so what okay the next question they asked

her were like what friends are in and how do you use them to like style okay so for this one again i kind of brought up mob jeans like because like i said mom jeans are

really trendy right now like who isn't wearing them mom jeans could be like one but then like the main thing that i said was that like oversized t-shirts or like graphic tees like

are something that i would wear like that are trendy right now and i would like to want to style like you can wear it with like anything you can tuck it in so like jeans or you can wear like a long sleeve shirt under like your graphic t-shirt

or you can wear it with like you know you can just style it in so many different ways like you could tie it like you know there's just a lot of ways you can like style just a random t-shirt or like just a graphic tee

like so yeah [Music] all right um so then they're gonna be like yup give me a description to yourself because we know nothing about you for that i mean you probably want to

describe yourself like how you would be in like a work environment so like you would just say how like you wanna i mean like if you're talking to someone like customer service like you wanna be like

really open to them and read them and stuff and then if they ask you to like describe yourself you should say so like big words like you know you're passionate

i don't know that's something like say words that's gonna make you sound smart because then like they'll be like oh well she's smart so then like you know she probably does go to school so she probably will be good at like in the work environment because she has

good work ethic you got to say queen ewed girl girl this has been youtube this girl thought cute was when you didn't actually blonde that should just be your hair color because

then i would actually have an excuse to be dumb describe yourself guys just like happy like something just describe yourself like don't be like oh yeah like i'm funny if you're not funny but

all right so when you walk into hollister and you notice something what did you notice okay oh well i noticed that like every single time everything is in like this the right spot like everything is folded super

nicely and like you don't see people just standing around like you see people just refolding everything even if it's not even messed up like people are still refolding everything and making sure that it looks good because you don't want to walk into a store and

everything's trash because then you can't find anything and it just looks not good yeah hollister always looks good because everyone's always like refolding and re-folding and re-folding like 50 times so what is the conversation that you would

start with an unfamiliar person what i said in the interview was i would like first go up to them and ask them like how their day was or like how they are because you know that starts a conversation that like sometimes people

they just need that little like how are you before like you know you start asking them what they need and then like you know you can go for that from there basically because that kind of just leads to more conversations you want to have good like customer

service and like ask them like oh are you guys doing okay or like do you need to help find anything specific like do you have any returns or exchanges that i can help you with or like did you have an online order or

whatever just so that like you have many different like things you can ask them and like you want to make sure that their their needs are satisfied i guess so yeah yeah good good job good job sweetie all

right this is a short answer but they said what was your experience with customer service because this wasn't my first job i already had experience with customer service but i basically just said that

like make sure everyone gets what they want and like finds what they need and stuff and don't be like one of people that like doesn't acknowledge people when they come in and like basically just acknowledge

everyone and like ask people how they're doing and like ask them if they need help or if they are looking for anything in particular or you know things like that and for those of you who have not had a job

before if you don't have customer service you do i can assure you whether it be through school clubs and activities or if you're volunteering if you've done volunteer experience you've dealt with customers whether they're getting like

whether it's like working on a food pantry or doing dealing with any of that talk about volunteer experience because that even if you're not getting paid that's still customer service you know what i mean

the last question they asked you was why do you want to work at hollister so for this one i said i want to work at hollister because i love wearing the clothes and i want to

work in a clothes like like environment like i want to work with clothes and like work with people that all you know want to do that and i also said i want to work at hollister because i really like that

store and i get a lot of my clothes from there so yeah and then i have a question for you what is the dress code okay so basically the dress code is like you can wear like whatever you

want basically but you don't have to wear like stuff from house or every single time because you know not everyone gets that like not everyone has clothes from hollister and stuff but the only thing you can't wear is

like you can't have like a different brand on your shirt or like on your jeans or whatever like i can't say like arrow or like nike or whatever like on your outfit so like anywhere and like you can't wear

like nike socks because that still like counts and also the only thing like i know my manager she said like you can't wear american eight american eagle jeans like your jeans can be from anywhere but like they can't

like have a little like tag on the back but even if they don't have the tag on the back just don't wear american evil jeans because that's one of my manager's pet peeves and that's a good thing to know that you shouldn't

wear american eagle jeans yeah because that's like their competitors that'd be like adidas and nike you know what i mean so gotta say a few things first we're gonna be making another video that will be coming out next week
