Learndash Dashboard Overview : WordPress eLearning Marketplace Solution

hello everyone it's V here today we are going to talk about L dashboard what can we do with the lest dashboard and how we are going to utilize

it the primary uh focus of the L dashboard is um to help our instructor to create their courses from the front end and they can also have some detailed

reports for their students along with um they can also conduct a meeting they can communicate with their student and they can also

send them mail uh to their student and uh we have also extended the support for the multi- instructor like a course can have

co-authors so you can display them on the front end and both of them can access the report and they can collaborate to modify the content and the lesson courses and everything they

can control it together for option point of view what uh backend option we have provided what are the front end option we have have given with the landash dashboard

everything is going to be explained in this series of the videos what we have created here the first thing uh what we are going to talk about what are what

are the basic option setting and uh how anyone who has bought the plugin how they can start with it the first option what they are getting uh

after activating the plug-in so these are the options of what we have like instructor uh courses status like they can publish it or uh make it as a draft

they can create taxs apply instructor button for a student number of a student we can display on a page and uh we also have a dedicated support for the budy press or the bodyy

boss so which AAR functionality you are planning to use the default one or the budy press or budy boss one and um along with that one you are also getting uh

option to map the pages these pages are automatically getting created when you have first installed the plugin and for the functionality point

of view um as instructor you can also submit announcement for courses specific so it will help your student to get notification for a new something is

coming it also have a email integration so you can also send email from the front end options uh to all your student and if Buddy press or buddy boss is enabled you can also send private

message um to all the student of your course or the selected student for a individual course and U when the monetization functionality is enabled

then uh you can also allow them to check they earning how much they had uh made this month last month or all over year for the dashboard page point of view

like uh what are the visit what you are going to display on the dashboard landing page these can be enabled and disabled from here and uh you can also set a featured cover image on the

dashboard page and how we are going to display on uh courses on the single instructor page so these are the basic options what we are

displaying on the dashboard page and um the dasboard page look like this one so we are calling them one by one this is the statistics of the tiles area these are the featured courses what we have

selected uh using some tag this is the earning visit as a administrator and uh the similar functionality you are getting for the instructor as well this

is the course completion visard um what we are offering for those courses what you have created as instructor so you can take a look of the progress of which

courses uh one of the popular courses or how many courses you are want to get an idea so you have a summary of those courses which are popular and uh based

on number of enrollment on these courses and how many student has completed how many student has started on that one and how many are in progress and you can

also segregate this data based on um in an individual course so you are also getting a complete overall summary along with that one you are also getting

a summary of your individual course in the same way we also have a functionality to track the time on um how much time your student has spent on

individual course so you can take it by course by course or a overall summary of of your courses top courses is based on how many enrollment they have got in that

particular duration that is the year month this month or last 7 days something like this and uh it is the individual student details like uh if

you want to check a progress of a one individual student so you just have to you have the complete details of all the student as a administrator as a instructor you can get all the details

for your student and uh for your IND usual courses how much uh they had proceed so you are getting a complete summary of their progress in all the

courses to which they have enrolled and which belong to you okay so support that as instructor if you are checking this student uh like as detail then um it

will give you all the courses which belong to you and U this person has enrolled to that one and you are getting a complete summary how many courses they had completed how many assignment they

had completed how many quiz they had completed so you are getting a complete picture of your student progress details so dashboard is giving you a complete overall summary of all the courses which

are published on your website as an instructor you will get account of your own student uh your own lessons courses what you have published how many lessons you have published so for how many topics you have

published quiz so it is just a published Bas data and in those uh courses like how many enrollment has been done how many active courses um same as uh approv

assignment non-approved assignment so these are the approved assignment submitted by any student these are the non-approved assignment submitted by any student which are part of your courses

same as um out of um graded essay non-graded essays you you are getting a overall summary of all the things what happening in the learn Dash just a summary and you can get a detailed

report in this report section as a report assignment report quiz report number of quiz attempt uh submitted aay and you can also grade them from the front end uh a course report

functionality you can segregate course and individual student details course activity it is more like uh a timeline for what action has been performed by

any student for your courses someone has completed a lesson someone has completed a topic someone has completed a quiz or they had completed their course so overall we are starting from

from the uh first section so this is the dashboard page uh what you have got so far after the dashboard we have a small profile section most of the people that

do not have um buddy press or buddy boss installed in that cases they can also manage their name last name user uh and U their buyer from the front end so we

have given a small edit profile section which is which is updating all the details inside WordPress basic uh profile what we are getting in the inside the back endend so they can

update their first name last name display name or they can also include their bio details here and whatever AAR they are going to select that is going to display on the cover image and if the

gravitar or the body boss is enabled then you can remove this section and whatever AAR they are setting on the bodyy press or body section that will be displayed here okay after this one you

are getting a course management section so inside the course management section you have you can create your courses you can also modify the existing courses so

we are giving a front end uh course editing section something like this one so you have a summary details first like include the title include the feature

image for the course course content and course category course tag then you're using green theme or the body boss theme you are also getting a cover image

option and uh we also have a builder functionality where you can create each um schema for your courses so you can

classify your sections and create um chapters these are the lessons and inside the lesson you can also include topics or the quizzes here so you can

create your schema here and once the schema is created you can edit those lessons or topics uh just by using this link and then you can add the content

for your lesson or the topic one for courses specific if you're going back to to the courses again so for the courses specific the

settings what you are getting you can also manage all the course material from the front end you can also select which uh course certification is part of this course course content it is always

visible like all the backend option what we are getting to the L dashboard um backend so we are bring all the option to the front end and you're

getting a clean interface for that one to that will help your instructor to have a clear-cut options what exactly they are expecting to submit their

courses and it is much easier for them to manage from the front end instead of going back to the back end and checking all the things what you have activated all the menu options distracting manyu

options what they are getting there so this is uh giving them a complete flexibility to publish their courses and they can publish their courses as a open

Free by now recurring or closed one one and these are the standard landash parameters so when you are choosing a closed parameter it will also you also have a flexibility to link it with the

woocommerce or some membership plugin with just including their uh byy URL for that lesson or membership uh membership plan and um so these are the course

specific features to display course you have a gr and the list layout both of them here so you you can include pressing you can include tag you can have a complete

summary with their pressing tag and the featured image and uh in the same way uh you can also build your structure and after that one you are getting a section for all the

lessons all the topics all the quizzes so you can create all the lesson at one place and then you can filter them to which course they belong so suppose that we have all the lesson listing here and

we have selected one course then it will display all the lessons which belong to this course and then you can easily edit them add content add videos so for the

lesson point of view the options what we are offering here so this is the first screen for the lesson where they are getting title uh lesson content featured

image if you want but most of them are not using this feature lesson category tag and uh in the setting section you are lesson material video progression assignment upload if you want to enable

the assignment upload function fun it there and then if you want to make it as a public as a sample lesson you can also do that from here so these are the lesson specific options what you are getting the next one is the topic

specific options so when you are trying to edit a topic so these are the options for the topics they can include their topic include um their content area you can

also embed video any videos or anything any media item there and for the video progression point of view or the assignment upload you can enable them

from here video progression is a part of the lesson or the topic so topic and contain material assignment upload functionality and you can also enable the point functionality for this one so

these are the options for the topic and the next one is the quiz creation quiz is a combination of multiple questions so you can create your questions first

and then you can start assembling your quiz and inside the quiz you can select which template they are going to utilize and how how which questions are the part

of this quiz so for the quiz point of view and these are the questions U Tab and inside the quiz you are getting quiz title quiz description in the Builder

you have um a list of all the question and then you can just drag and drop all the questions to build your quiz so you are getting a complete list of the questions what you have on the website

and then you just have to select it here and you can also add new question easily from here for the setting point of view

um inside that setting uh you are getting a Association data like to which course this qu Associated or to which lesson it is associated what is the passing score you are planning to allow

the retake quiz completion all the question are required so the conditions what we are getting inside the quiz section for the learn Dash back end everything is available on the front

end after the quiz functionalities like uh you can also create the certificate from the front end and U all the assignment what uh we had published or

uploaded they can be listed there and we have also included the functionality for the announcement so as an instructor you can create a new announcement functionality or you can

modify existing announcement you can put some title on that one put some content for this announcement and to which course this announcement is made once the the announcement is submitted then

it will be displayed in the new announcement section for the student dashboard or the instructor dashboard so they can view what new announcement has been published so far and uh for a

student these announcement will be published and they can find it inside the my dashboard section and the first one like dashboard after that one there will be an announcement menu for a

student okay so an instructor you are able to manage your courses you can publish new announcement and you can also create groups from the front end so

we have U add a new group functionality you can assign who will be the group leader who which courses belong to that particular group from the front end so you have a title functionality include

some description for the group and you can also include group certificate and um which courses uh are going to belong to this group you can

also select from here and if you want to assign the member member to these groups you can also have complete user list and you can select uh which student are

going to belong to this group and you can also select your group leader something like this you have to make sure the group leader um you have already created from the back end then

you can select them as a group leader the next one is the leave that okay the next functionality uh what we have are report is specific and these
