Summary
## Key takeaways - **Deep Think Tops Benchmarks**: This thing scored higher on the tests than any AI on the planet, scoring 41% on humanity's last exam that stumps PhD students, compared to 21.6% for Gemini 2.5 Pro. [00:17], [16:08] - **Builds Working Flight Simulator**: Prompted to create a flight simulator game, Deep Think generated Python code in 5-10 minutes, then converted to runnable HTML canvas code that flies smoothly in 3D. [01:33], [12:57] - **Beats Claude Opus Head-to-Head**: Using the exact same simple prompt 'create a flight simulator game,' Gemini Deep Think produced a smoother, easier-to-control 3D game, while Claude Opus made a messy, hard-to-fly version. [10:00], [13:06] - **Old AI vs New Deep Think**: Old way: rewrite prompts five times, still not perfect, waste two hours. New Deep Think way: plain English prompt, thinks deeply, one-shot real answer, move on. [08:12], [08:22] - **Access Requires AI Ultra**: Need AI Ultra subscriber or Google AI Ultra Business license at about $250 a month, only available directly in Gemini app with usage limits that refresh slowly. Today I'm going to be showing you using Deep Think 3, how it works, whether it's good, etc. If you're not familiar with this basically
Google Deepthink have just released um their smartest AI model ever. And I mean ever. So, you know, this thing scored
ever. So, you know, this thing scored higher on the tests than any AI on the planet. Um, and most of this stuff would
planet. Um, and most of this stuff would like stump PhD students. I mean, we're talking about like 5% on something called humanity's last exam. It tests so hard. It was made to challenge the
hard. It was made to challenge the smartest minds in the world. But here's
why it matters to you, okay? It thinks
deeper. It reasons better. It figures
out what you want. And even when your instructions are messy, it can still work with that. So, I'm going to show you what deep think is, why this changes everything, the old way versus the new way of using AI, a simple 30-day
framework to put this bad boy to work.
All right., So,, if, you've, never, used, this before, let me show you exactly how to use it.
Here's an example. So, this is something we actually built with Deep Think just a few moments ago. Essentially, what you see here is a flight simulator, right?
So, if we refresh the page here, we can fly this cheeky plane around. As you can see now, this is just a little example a little fun uh game that we built using
Google Deep Think, and it doesn't look too bad at all. I mean, there's not much detail in the background and that sort of thing., I, think, we, could, improve, that
of thing., I, think, we, could, improve, that massively, but it's pretty crazy and it did seem to work straight away. Now
if you want to know how we built this essentially we went on to Google Deep Think said create a flight simulator game. Then it
thought about it literally for about I would say 5 to 10 minutes it took to to create something like this. And we said for a you can see here they actually came up with the Python code and then at
that point I was like right okay just do it in the canvas here in HTML as you can see then from there it started creating the HTML doesn't seem to actually be able to run directly in canvas from Google deep think. So when you're doing
this, what you want to do is just grab the HTML and then you can go back into a new chat inside Gemini as you can see
over here and plugged in the HTML and started to use it inside the canvas directly and then you can run it like that. Option that you have is that you
that. Option that you have is that you can go to liveweave.com. to
liveweave.com. You can plug in the HTML code in the top left as you can see and then it will um it will start using it magic over here.
Right? It's actually another game that we built previously. So this is a flight simulator game but it's more in like 2D right? So it's not quite as as
right? So it's not quite as as impressive I would say as the the 3D game. But you can see here how we've
game. But you can see here how we've built like a sort of 2D flight simulator game kind of like Flappy Bird but for a plane. Um and you can easily build that
plane. Um and you can easily build that out., All right., Now,
out., All right., Now,
when you're using this, you basically want to go to thinking inside Gemini, as you can see, and then you're going to flip over to deep think over here right? So, make sure that you've
right? So, make sure that you've selected deep think, then you're going to use thinking mode. You also need to be aware that there are limits on this so you can't use it that much. Also, you
don't seem to have to get an API for this. So, for example, if you go to to
this. So, for example, if you go to to models on open router, you won't find deep think as you can see. And then also on AI studio as well, like you're not going to find uh I don't think you're
going to, get, an, API, for, deep, think, as far as I'm aware. You can select Gemini 3 Pro and then use a thinking level here, but as far as I'm aware, um and you can change your thinking level to
high, mode,, but, you, don't, seem, to, be able to use the um deep think model, right? If you type in deep and search across all models, you won't find deep think inside AI studio
right? So, it seems like the only place
right? So, it seems like the only place you can actually use it is directly inside Gemini, it is super powerful. It
does take a long time to respond because obviously it's it's using deep uh reasoning mode to come up with the answers. And then also one of the
answers. And then also one of the biggest issues here is that you are limited, right? So, you're not going to
limited, right? So, you're not going to be able, to, publish, like, or, or, create loads and loads of stuff using this right? It does take a long time. So
right? It does take a long time. So
that's basically how it works. Go back
to Gemini now. Let's test something else out. So that was just for like a fun
out. So that was just for like a fun sort of, you know, little example. If
you're not familiar with Deep Think, let me talk you through how it works, etc. Step by step. So you basically use this to solve complex problems with Gemini's highest level of advanced reasoning.
Right now, to be able to use this feature, there's a couple of things here. So number one, you need to be an
here. So number one, you need to be an AI Ultra subscriber or have a Google AI Ultra Business license. Um, and you can just upgrade within your account to use this. And then to use it, you want to
this. And then to use it, you want to sign into Gemini apps. That's how you use it. Okay. Now this is an
use it. Okay. Now this is an experimental capability so you can try it out and it is the most advanced reason to model from Gemini and they actually do say they make a discontinuous suspend deep think at any
time without notice and then you can use it across computer Android and iPhone as you can see and there are limits right so limits for how many times you can use deep think so when you reach limit you
have to wait until your limit refreshes and that can take quite a long time now if you want to start using this for your business etc how I normally come up with
the ideas is like I'll go on to chat GPT for example and say okay what's a
complex reasoning problem or tool or website to create via Google deep think to test how powerful it is right um and
then you know you can get a bunch of ideas from chat GBT on what you can create and how you can create it and that sort of thing what is IMO let's have a look here never even heard of that 2025 problem 6 what even is All
right, we'll come back to that in a sec.
Now, if we go back to chat GPT here, it's given us some ideas.
So, sandbox where users input the niche and the tool simulates 12 months of SEO growth. What else we got here? The
growth. What else we got here? The
business decision machine. the tool that solves hard strategy questions based on constraints. A logical maze game with
constraints. A logical maze game with hidden rules. The SEO growth probability
hidden rules. The SEO growth probability tool., All right,, let's, try, that., And
tool., All right,, let's, try, that., And
then I'm going to go back into chat GP and say, give me a prompt the SEO to build it. Let's go back to
build it. Let's go back to the imo problem six. So consider a 2025 by 2025 grid of unit squares. Matilda
wants to place some rectangular tiles on the grid. The tiles blah blah blah. All
the grid. The tiles blah blah blah. All
right, let's try this one. I don't even know what this is, but we'll try it out.
Choose the popular request here and see if it can solve this problem. So, we'll
plug it in. Go to deep think. Yeah
enter.
See, what, we, get., All right., So,, we're going to, test, that., That, will, take, a, few minutes to run. So, in the meantime we'll go back to chat GPT and get the prompt for Google Deepthink to create
the SEO growth probability engine. And
then we're going to take this and we'll copy this prompt. It's quite
a complex prompt as you can see. I
actually hate the way chat GBT 5.1 writes. I don't know if anyone agrees
writes. I don't know if anyone agrees with me, but I do think it's it's pretty bad. Like look at the way it's written
bad. Like look at the way it's written and stuff. But anyway, we'll go back to
and stuff. But anyway, we'll go back to Gemini deep think now. That's Gemini.
Switch to tools, deep thinking mode.
Okay. Plug this in and see if it can build, that., I, don't, know if, you, can, run
build, that., I, don't, know if, you, can, run deep think twice as well. That's
interesting. Whe you can run it in two different tabs at the same time. So
we've got the 2025 IMO problem over here. And then we have the SEO growth
here. And then we have the SEO growth probability machine over here.
They're both coding out now. Whilst
that's generating the response, you see here it does take a long time and it's good for you to see how long it takes.
But you know what I would say here is like the old ways you know you would write a prompt AI answers it's kind of right but not quite right you rewrite the prompt five times it's
still not perfect you give up and do it yourself and you waste like two hours right that's the old way of using AI I would say with the new way of deep think you write what you want in plain English thinks deeply about the problem
considers multiple approaches gives you the real answer does it in one shot and you move on with your day and like this isn't the small upgrade. It's like a totally different way of thinking right? So, when you're building this
right? So, when you're building this sort of stuff you know, same with this tab as well.
You can see it generating the response.
It really does like, you know, take a long time to to come up with this stuff right? It's quite interesting. Deep
right? It's quite interesting. Deep
Think kind of works the same way. Like
you don't need to be technical. You just
need to know what you want and the AI does the technical part. And she built like a billion dollar company, by the way. And the only skill you need really
way. And the only skill you need really is is talking. You need to be able to talk to the AI, tell it what you want etc. And you already know how to do that. Let's have a look at where use
that. Let's have a look at where use chat GBT to tell Gemini what to do 100% that's like I especially when I'm coming up with prompts on the go right so if I'm like doing a live stream I'll
typically have to chat GPD just because it will save me time otherwise like I have to write the prompt come up with it think about it etc whilst I'm on a live stream which takes absolutely ages says what do you think about claude opus 4.5
with Gemini 3 pro we can actually compare, these, side, by, side, all right, so uh if we if we actually do the same thing I I'm just looking at some of these, comments, that, funny., All right.
So, what do you think about Claude Opus 4.5 compared with Gemini 3 Pro? All
right. So, what we can actually do is we can we can take this example. So, uh if we go back to Gemini now, we're going to
go back to the 3D light simulator. All
right, this one. And I'm going to go onto Claude Opus. So, this one right here. I'm going to compare this with
here. I'm going to compare this with with, Claude, Opus,, for example., We'll, try and build the same thing with Claude Opus. So, if we go into Claude Opus, uh
Opus. So, if we go into Claude Opus, uh the prompt that I originally used is just create a flight simulator game right? So, the prompt is as simple as
right? So, the prompt is as simple as that. That's how simple you can make it.
that. That's how simple you can make it.
So, if we go back on to Claude Opus 4.5 here, which is Claude's kind of alternative to Google Deep Think Free we're going to plug in the same example right here. We're going to enter like
right here. We're going to enter like so, and then we're going to wait for this to code and see what how these compare, right?
How Gemini Deep Think compares to Claude Opus. Let's see what else we got here.
Opus. Let's see what else we got here.
Joker., All right., series, of, first, person puzzle adventure games. Okay, give me an example of a fun one I can build. All right
floating island puzzle room. So, we're
going to take that. We'll grab that idea. We'll go back to Gemini now. We're
idea. We'll go back to Gemini now. We're
going to use deep think. If I haven't run out of credits, I'm sure that's coming. Switch to thinking mode and see
coming. Switch to thinking mode and see if we can start building that out. You
know, some people as well, like wh just whilst we were running that, some people say like AI tools are too complicated to set up. But if you ever heard of Howard
set up. But if you ever heard of Howard Schultz, right, before Starbucks, he was a salesman selling kitchen stuff. And he
walked into a small coffee shop in Seattle, saw something special, bought the company, and you got to bear in mind here, like he didn't know how to roast coffee, he didn't know how to run a chain, but he knew what great customer
service experience looked like. And he
once said like in terms in times of adversity and change, we really discover who we are and what we're made of. And
it's the same with deep think right now right? You just open it, you type it
right? You just open it, you type it you work. So you don't need to
you work. So you don't need to understand how it works or how to be technical, how to set this up. You just
literally give it one prompt. And I
would say like prompting has never been simpler with these sort of tools because with Deepthink, the simpler the prompt is, the better. You just let Deep Think do all the the thinking for you, right?
So for example, create a flight simulator game. You'll be able to figure
simulator game. You'll be able to figure that out pretty quickly. Now, let's have a look at Opus. See what we got here.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What
we got here? What is this? Wow, this is crazy.
Do we just What on earth is going on here?, All right,, so, this, is, Claude.
here?, All right,, so, this, is, Claude.
I'm just going to refresh this and I'll show you what I mean. For some reason it won't refresh. Okay, I'll refresh the page., I, said, here, we, go., All right,, so
page., I, said, here, we, go., All right,, so you can see my tab here. You can see Skyorn. This is a flight simulator.
Skyorn. This is a flight simulator.
We're built more on prompt, but this is using Claude Opus, right? So, we got Claude Opus and then if we compare that
um, we'll compare it against the flight simulator from Gemini. Right.
So, just to recap, this is the flight simulator from Gemini. This is the flight simulator from Opus. Now, if we begin the flight with
Opus right here, right, it's pretty hard to control. Not easy at all that. Um, it
to control. Not easy at all that. Um, it
seems quite messy as well. And for some reason, we're flying higher and higher into, the, stratosphere., All right., Um,
and it's not not an easy game to play to be honest with you. Let's try and Yeah.
You you see how it just ends up in a total mess. Now, let's compare this to
total mess. Now, let's compare this to Gemini, which is using exactly the same prompt to build a flight simulator. It's
not as complex to be fair, but it actually works. So, we're using the
actually works. So, we're using the flight simulator. We're flying around
flight simulator. We're flying around here. It's still in 3D, but it's a lot
here. It's still in 3D, but it's a lot smoother to play, a lot easier to control, um, a lot more fun to play honestly, and it doesn't seem quite as messy. And so, like, I would say
messy. And so, like, I would say the Claude Opus' Flight Simulator looks a lot more complex on the outside but actually doesn't work quite as well right? Whereas, if we switch that over
right? Whereas, if we switch that over to Gemini Deep Think, you get better responses for it, for sure. What else we got here? Oka 59, be able to oneshot
got here? Oka 59, be able to oneshot video games that you see in computer games. We'll take my abilities to next
games. We'll take my abilities to next level. Yeah, congrats and good luck. Oh
level. Yeah, congrats and good luck. Oh
the ultra subscription. Woof. Yeah, just
bear in mind like if you want to use the Google deep thing is about $250 a month.
So, you know, it's it's not the cheapest in the world, is it? Let's be honest.
But if it does its magic, if it works then why not, right? Why not? And that's
the price I pay for you as well to help you. Like, I I don't want to pay that.
you. Like, I I don't want to pay that.
But, you know, I'm just trying to create stuff that you would enjoy. Now, other
people are going to say like, I've tried Deep Think before. I've tried AI before and it didn't work. But here's something most people don't know. Like James
Dyson, the vacuum cleaner guy, like he created 5,126 failed prototypes of his product before he got one that worked. 5,126.
And he said, "I've made 5,127 prototypes of my vacuum before I got it right." And there were 5,126 failures
right." And there were 5,126 failures but I learned from each one. So the AI you've tried before, whether that's like the old version of Deep Think or the old version of AI tools, probably was limited. You know, Gemini 2 was smart
limited. You know, Gemini 2 was smart but Deep Think is something different.
And so, you know, Google spent years making this and it uses something called parallel reasoning, which means that it thinks about your problem from multiple angles at the same time before it gives you a response. And what failed before
might work now. The tools only get better. So, you know, it's worth
better. So, you know, it's worth checking this stuff out as well. So, you
can see all this, you know, you can see how to use it, how to get access, what sort of stuff it can build. Um, let's go back to that miss game now. So, we got the age stratus.
All right., So,, it's, come, up, with, the ideas. Now I'm going to say, okay
ideas. Now I'm going to say, okay create the HTML for this. Create the
onepage HTML for this game. See if it can do that. But yeah, I would definitely say it outperforms something like Claude Opus. The only problem that I
Claude Opus. The only problem that I have with this is like if I say create a floating puzzle game, what I don't expect is for it to just lay out in this sort of like walk through bulletoint
list. I would expect it to actually just
list. I would expect it to actually just go off and create it. So that's kind of annoying. Like it creates a design
annoying. Like it creates a design document. So, I think you just have to
document. So, I think you just have to be careful here because you're using limited credits and it does take a long time for a response. So, make sure if you ask for your game or whatever that you actually say, "Okay, give me a HTML
or give me the the HTML response from this." We'll wait for that to come back
this." We'll wait for that to come back to us here. Now, let's see what Google officially said about this tool. So
December the 4th, this article is from it said, "Today we're rolling out Gemini 3 deep think mode to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app. This new
new mode delivers a meaningful improvement in reasoning capabilities designed to tackle maths, science, and logic problems that challenge even the most advanced state-of-the-art models.
So, like I was talking about before Gemini 3 deep think is industry leading on rigorous benchmarks like humanity's last exam scoring 41% without the use of
tools and AIC AGI 2 an unprecedented 45% of code execution. This is because it uses advanced parallel reasoning, right?
So that's one of the biggest differences here to explore multiple hypotheses simultaneously. So you can like test
simultaneously. So you can like test multiple things at the same time.
Building on Gemini 2.5 deep think variants that recently achieved a gold medal standard at the International Mathematical Olympiad and at the International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals. Let's see what we
got here. By the way, we're still
got here. By the way, we're still waiting for Google Deep Think to come up with the HTML for that game we're building out for the miss game. So, it's
taking a little while there. And in the meantime, we'll wait to find out what happens if everything we ever known is backwards and inside out. So, what else have they said? Gemini deep think. Okay
we already covered that. Ultra
subscribers can try deep think mode by selecting deep think. Okay, you already know how to do that. Let's have a look on Deep Mind's website as well. See what
we got here. So, they've said Gemini 3 deep thing pushed the boundaries of intelligence, delivering a step-by-step change in Gemini 3's reasoning and multimodal understanding capabilities.
And then we've got some examples here.
So, humanity's last exam. You can see how this compares against Gemini 3 Pro as well. So, honestly, like it's 10%
as well. So, honestly, like it's 10% better, right? It's not like 100 times
better, right? It's not like 100 times better or anything like that. Like 37.5%
versus Gemini 3 Deep Think, but look at the step up from Gemini 2.5 Pro. That's
the main thing here is like it's literally in terms of performing on humanities, like last, exam,, it, performs twice as well almost. So 21.6% for
Gemini 2.5 Pro versus Gemini 3 Deep Think at 41. Now it's only got Claude Sonic 4.5 here. So, it doesn't have asus, but you see that Claude Sonic 4.5
performs uh maybe about 30% of the power of Gemini 3 deep think GP5 Pro is nowhere
near GPT 5.1 is nowhere near. Not a big fan of GT5.1. Anyway, what else we got here? And uh yeah, it'll be there for
here? And uh yeah, it'll be there for you, waiting for you. So
we've got the response back for what if everything we've known is backwards and inside out. And you can see the thinking
inside out. And you can see the thinking here. So you can see like it it
here. So you can see like it it literally takes about 5 minutes to reply here. You see it's like questioning
here. You see it's like questioning reality's fabric, analyzing the reversal, probing deeper implications synthesizing insights, exploring
alternative models, validating inversions logic, right? So it's coming through um and you know coming up with a bunch of ideas and looking at different ways it can solve the problem. And it's
like this is a question that sits at the intersection of theoretical physics neuroscience and philosophy. If we take your premise seriously that reality is the exact inverse of our perception. The
universe shifts from a solid place we inhabit to a fluid projection we create which kind of I mean intuitively I would say that's probably true like you know we all have our own version of reality
and it talks about the biological biological reality. So you already see
biological reality. So you already see backwards as we already have retinal inversion. Then we got the physics
inversion. Then we got the physics reality the holograph principle. I don't
know this one. There is a concept called the holograph principle. It suggests
that the 3D universe we experience with depth, volume, and gravity might actually be a projection of 2D data stored on the distant surface at the edge of the universe, the cosmological
horizon. So, I mean, we we're getting
horizon. So, I mean, we we're getting really deep today. We're getting deep today. This is not I try and simplify my
today. This is not I try and simplify my live streams down to third grade language. I would say we've totally
language. I would say we've totally broken that rule today, but it's quite fun and interesting. It does sound very fancy here. It seems a little bit what I
fancy here. It seems a little bit what I say. Yeah, I I would say like we it's
say. Yeah, I I would say like we it's almost showing off his school deep think at, this, point., So the, inside, out., If
this is true, the real you is a smear of data on the outside shadow of the universe and the you sitting in the chair is a holographic projection in the center. The reality is on the outside.
center. The reality is on the outside.
The illusion is on the inside deep. We
are going deep. This is for a Sunday Morgan right for a Sunday morning. We're
going really really deep here. Ian
agrees that's what we're talking about.
All right,, let's, talk, about, the, temporal reality. remember in the future we view
reality. remember in the future we view time as a push from the past cause to effect which yeah I would say like cause to effect you know you do a live stream you, get, more, members, inside, there they are profitable you get more views on
YouTube etc right you're here because of the big bang your parents and your breakfast but the fundamental laws of physics generally work just as well backwards so the backwards flow if time
flowed backwards we could move from teology being pulled by the future rather than causality in this view The oak tree isn't the result of the acorn. The acorn
is the result of the oaks trees need to exist. You're walking toward your
exist. You're walking toward your destiny. Your destiny's reeling you in.
destiny. Your destiny's reeling you in.
Interesting. Interesting. True North
reposted the stream. Thank you very much, sir. Appreciate you. Reverse
much, sir. Appreciate you. Reverse
entropy in a backwards universe. Order
would arise from chaos. Smoke would rush back into the fire. Broken eggs
would seal themselves. You would wake up with a lifetime of wisdom and slowly grow younger and more innocent until you vanish into the spark of your parents union. Okay, that I don't really get
union. Okay, that I don't really get that. I don't know what we're talking
that. I don't know what we're talking about here, but that would be basically if Yeah. Okay. So, if if the world was
if Yeah. Okay. So, if if the world was backwards, that's what we'd be looking at. And then the psychological reality
at. And then the psychological reality the backward law. Philosopher Alan Watts spoke of the backwards law or the law of reversed effort, which suggests that in the psychological realm, everything works in reverse compared to the
physical realm. That is deep. That is
physical realm. That is deep. That is
deep. Rate it from 1 to 10. Gemini 3 Pro Deep Think. What you think? I like that.
Deep Think. What you think? I like that.
We're gonna say that. I'm going to pin that. Yeah, let's rate it out of 10. If
that. Yeah, let's rate it out of 10. If
you're watching this, rate Gemini Deep Think out of 10. Bounce it down on the philosophical question. I think you
philosophical question. I think you could write a book on philosophy at this point from what I'm reading here. See
the inversion. In the physical world more effort equals more results. In the
psychological world, this is super interesting actually. The harder you try
interesting actually. The harder you try to be happy, the more miserable you become because trying reinforces the lack. The more you chase security, the
lack. The more you chase security, the more anxious you feel. This is something I think we're all aware of, but we've never seen before. Really, I love the way that that's written up. I love the way it references like different
philosophers around the world as well.
It's one of the most interesting um responses I've ever seen from an AI to be honest with you. So, who posted this question here? It was Ian. Ian, you're a
question here? It was Ian. Ian, you're a legend, mate. That was a great question.
legend, mate. That was a great question.
That blew my mind a little bit. I would
agree with you. I don't have access Alex. Yeah, but what do you think about
Alex. Yeah, but what do you think about what you're seeing on the screen today?
The result. To get what you want, you must stop grasping for it. Surrender
creates power. Insecurity creates drive.
That's true. Insecurity creates drive.
Most successful people usually the most insecure., Let's, be, honest., All right.
insecure., Let's, be, honest., All right.
The philosophical reality. The universe
is in you. The standard materialist view is the universe created the brain. The
brain created consciousness.
Consciousness. The inside out view.
Idealism is consciousness is fundamental. Consciousness dreamed up
fundamental. Consciousness dreamed up the universe. I I think I'm lost at this
the universe. I I think I'm lost at this point. I'm totally lost. I don't really
point. I'm totally lost. I don't really get this bit. The implication if this is true you are not a tiny entity inside of our universe. You are the container. The
our universe. You are the container. The
entire the entire universe every star planet and person you have ever known exists solely within the theater of your consciousness. When you look out at the
consciousness. When you look out at the stars, you are actually looking deep into the structure of your own mind. So
this one I totally got lost in. I'm
going to ask you to to go deeper on this. In conclusion, if everything is
this. In conclusion, if everything is backwards and inside out, then our fundamental assumption about life is wrong. Of course, we usually believe we
wrong. Of course, we usually believe we are strangers trying to find our place in the world. But if the inversion is true, you are the world trying to experience itself as a stranger. You
aren't a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop. Now, as a followup, ask it to take six six steps back, then six leaps, then six volts.
Let's try that. Look at that. It takes
ages just to cancel the response. Take
six steps back. Six leaps and then six volts. Feel like we're all going on a
volts. Feel like we're all going on a spiritual journey this morning down the rabbit hole of Google deep think. So
we'll wait for that to load. In the
meantime, we should have the mist program right here. All right, let's see if this actually works. We're going to go into a new chat inside Gemini. See
how we do. New chat over here. Get it to run that in the canvas. Metaphysics is
how we test depth. Okay, so we're running this code that we got from Deep Think for the Mist game. We'll see what we get back. By the way, thanks everyone for the suggestions today. We had some great questions today. Loving it. So
we've got the miss game over here. Let's
take a look. Rotate the crank. The crank
is rusted. It needs
lubrication. Does anyone understand how to play this game? I feel like Let's have a look here. Yeah, I don't I don't get this. Maybe this is like a really
get this. Maybe this is like a really good game for someone who understands it, but for me, I don't understand what we've created here at all. I do feel like the responses from Deep Think are a little bit too intellectual for the
average Jack Johnson, but yeah, I don't find any value in that at all. All
right, let's go back to reality reversed.
Says, "This is a full investigative report on metaphysical idealism. The
inside out reality. This is a full investigative report on metaphysical idealism. The universe is in you. Six
idealism. The universe is in you. Six
steps back. You assume you are sitting on a chair. Physics tell us tells us the chair is 99% empty space. You've never
actually touched matter. You've only
felt the electromagnetic repulsion between the electron clouds of your skin and the electron clouds of the chair.
The sensation of solidity is a signal created in your brain, not a property of the object itself. Okay. So, basically
we've never sat in a chair. Is that what you're telling me? Step back from direct experience. You assume you look out the
experience. You assume you look out the world. In reality, you're trapped in a
world. In reality, you're trapped in a dark, silent skull. Dark. This is
getting dark now. You've never seen the universe. You've only seen your internal
universe. You've only seen your internal rendering of it. Wow. The sky isn't up.
The image of the sky is inside you. All
right. The setback from the hard problem. There is no physical law that
problem. There is no physical law that explains how atoms suddenly become aware of itself. This suggests that matter
of itself. This suggests that matter might not be the cause of consciousness but the result of it. I like that.
That's pretty cool. The step back from time. We assume time is a river flowing
time. We assume time is a river flowing from the past to the future. But in
quantum physics, the distinction between past, present, and future is an illusion. Furthermore, the past exists
illusion. Furthermore, the past exists only as a memory, a thought happening now. And the future exists only as an
now. And the future exists only as an anticipation, a thought happening now.
You have left the eternal now. The step
back from separation. We assume we are separate entities because we have separate bodies. But look at a whirlpool
separate bodies. But look at a whirlpool in a river. Is a whirlpool separate from the river? It's a shape and location
the river? It's a shape and location but it's made of nothing but the river.
If the universe is a single energy field, you are just a localized ripple inside it, not a separate object. All
right. So, I mean, what I would say here is like these questions used to break the models. How interesting? Honestly
the models. How interesting? Honestly
like that's some of the most interesting stuff AI has ever told me. I would say it's it's quite interesting. I I've
never really looked at using AI for, you know, philosophy and that sort of thing but I think you could go on a crazy philosophical journey with that. And it
doesn't feel like just fluffy nonsense.
It actually seems really deep in the way that it talks. Step back. You cannot by definition verify that a world exists outside of your consciousness.
Everything you have ever known, every star, every person, every atom has appeared within the field of your awareness. To say there is a universe
awareness. To say there is a universe outside of awareness is a theoretical assumption you cannot prove. Again
pretty enlightening there. Pretty
interesting stuff. And it just goes on.
It just goes on and on like that for that. If you want me to read any of this
that. If you want me to read any of this stuff out, if it's being useful, if it's useful for you, just let me know.
Otherwise, I'll probably skip through it. But you can see what it's saying
it. But you can see what it's saying right here. You can scroll through and
right here. You can scroll through and have a cheeky gander yourself. But
that's basically it. We've tested out Google deep thing. I do think it's a very impressive model. I didn't like the misgame it created. I thought that was pretty useless. I really liked the
pretty useless. I really liked the philosophy stuff that he did and the you know, the stuff on like awareness and realism and all that. That was super interesting. It's very deep. Let's have
interesting. It's very deep. Let's have
a look here. The final vault, the cosmic hideandsek. Why would an infinite all
hideandsek. Why would an infinite all powerful consciousness limit itself to being a confused human? To feel. Being
infinite is boring. To know joy, you must know sorrow. To know discovery, you must know ignorance. You are playing a hide of hiding a game of hideand-seek with yourself. You hid so well that you
with yourself. You hid so well that you forgot you were hiding. You are not a stranger in the universe. You are the universe pretending to be a stranger.
Wow. Okay. So
[laughter] it's so deep.
So deep, but really interesting. Yeah, I
love the questions on that. I do think the flight simulator as well it's created was miles better than the output from Claude Obus. So, if we go back to that, let's find over here. Yeah, this
one right here.
It's a little bit hard to control but it's miles better than what Opus created. Right. If we go back to Opus
created. Right. If we go back to Opus right? So, this is the
right? So, this is the flight simulator. It's pretty cool. I
flight simulator. It's pretty cool. I
think one thing you'd want to do is just like viode it out until you've got a nice um amount of detail in the background here.
And also I think the camera angles are slightly buggy if that makes sense. But
it is cool. So if we go back to Claude Opus, open up the chats, look at the flight simulator game. As cool as it looks here, it's just not easy to
control. You see how it's super laggy
control. You see how it's super laggy here and like it just it totally breaks. Although it is a bit more 3D to be fair. I mean, yeah, it's super buggy, isn't it? Yeah. So, I think
Google Gemini won in that respect. The
miss game was terrible and the philosophy was awesome. Did you
see the rumor of new GPT version drop on December the 9th? That's going to be interesting. I think, you know, if you
interesting. I think, you know, if you remember last year, Chat GPT and OpenAI did like the 12 days of Christmas. It
wouldn't surprise me if they do something like that again, which means there's going to be some huge updates from Chat GPT. If you remember, like the way they marketed themselves last year was was world class. I don't think they're in such a strong position now
with Google creating so much good stuff and claw creating so much good stuff.
But we'll see how that goes. Garlic
model equals self-reflection. I think
OpenAI will cook with garlic. Why are we talking about garlic? Have I just totally missed something here? So yeah
