Where wins meet can be a little intimidating for new players, but this video should remove any fear and trepidation you might have while enjoying your playthrough. This video is going to be the most complete beginner

guide for where winds meet that I could make without spoiling anything. By the

time you finish this video, you will understand every system you need to know to play the game confidently. If you got questions, ask them in the comments below. I'll read and respond to every

below. I'll read and respond to every single one. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

single one. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

Also, be sure to take advantage of the timestamps to revisit any topic you need to come back to later. Now, let's get into it. All right, the first thing that

into it. All right, the first thing that we're going to focus on is the open world and all of the things that you can do inside of it, as well as the various rewards that you get, whether it's currencies, materials, or stats. These

rewards are going to determine what you're focusing on and why. So, let's

talk about that really quick here. So,

first thing we've got is a map of the open world. You're going to start right

open world. You're going to start right around here somewhere. And the first things that you're going to want to focus on hitting in this game are going to be the wayfairer locations. That's

the book with the fire on it. When you

touch that, it's going to reveal the map for that region. Similarly, there's one up here. Touch this and this whole

up here. Touch this and this whole region becomes exposed and it's going to highlight things in the region for you like teleport locations, these stones right here, things that you're really going to want to touch. And those two

things are going to be your two biggest focuses when entering a zone. And the

reason for that is because this one reveals all the stones. And then these stones are going to give you 50 zone XP per stone. Whereas the smaller tasks,

per stone. Whereas the smaller tasks, like if we look at my compass right now, we see these little butterflies that we're going to be collecting loads of to get oddities. Those are only going to

get oddities. Those are only going to give you three zone XP. And when you open a chest, it's going to give you three or five XP as well. So touching

one of these stones is like gathering 16 or 17 oddities in terms of zone XP. And

the reason zone XP is important is because if you want to explore the zone as efficiently as possible, you don't want to be spending a lot of time running around the zone like this, but rather you want to have these other

abilities like this one right here, which allows you to sprint really fast, allows you to jump really far, or you can hold it, and then you can literally fly across the world. So, to get those,

you need zone XP. And these stones are going to be one of the fastest ways to get the necessary amount of zone XP. To

see how much zone XP you need, we're going to briefly dive into the menu system here. This menu system is so

system here. This menu system is so confusing right now for you. I know by the time this video is over, it's not going to be. You're going to understand it. You're going to know what each menu

it. You're going to know what each menu does, where each menu is located, and hopefully we'll make sense of this so that it's a lot easier for you to navigate whenever it comes time for you to find something or understand why

something is where it is. So for zone XP, what we're going to do is click on the journal and then right here you've got the two zones. So you can switch between them. Here's King and here's

between them. Here's King and here's Kyen. Those are the two zones that you

Kyen. Those are the two zones that you start in. And the thing you want to pay

start in. And the thing you want to pay attention to is over here on the right it says level five. And that level determines how much mobility you have in that zone. Your mobility, the ability to

that zone. Your mobility, the ability to sprint up walls. Like you see a vertical wall that's 20 ft high on a mountain or 50 ft high or 100 ft high, you can just walk up it. Literally, you walk up that

cliff or you could jump and fly somewhere really far away. That's

unlocked in here by getting to level four and you get this afterglow pendant, which is going to give you the ability to use your grand light skill and wall stride, the two that we just mentioned.

So, that's why two of your earliest focuses are going to be these teleport stones and these wifers, because that's going to give you the ability to really get around these locations much more efficiently for the rest of your play

through. Now, if you try to head to a

through. Now, if you try to head to a zone too early, you'll start to walk into it and it'll say this zone requires you to be higher level and it'll kick you out of that zone and it'll put you right back in the zone you were previously in. So, that's how you'll

previously in. So, that's how you'll know if you've gone somewhere you're not supposed to be yet. The game makes it pretty obvious. Now, we touched on

pretty obvious. Now, we touched on oddities a moment ago, which are anytime you see these little butterfly symbols on your mini map, and your mini map is the best way to find them, and they are everywhere. If you start running across

everywhere. If you start running across the zone, you're going to run into tons of them. As you can see here in this

of them. As you can see here in this zone, I just stepped into an area where there are five of them on my screen, which is quite extraordinary actually that there's still a place with five of them that I haven't touched yet. But

these are really, really simple mini puzzles that you can complete to collect oddities. And oddities are what you're

oddities. And oddities are what you're going to use to unlock permanent stats in this game. It's one of many different stats sections that this game has. This

menu section here has so many different stats that we're going to dive into and explain. Some are going to unlock

explain. Some are going to unlock abilities for you. Some are going to unlock passives and some are passives that you unlock with your oddities.

There's loads of them. But to start with the butterflies, they're always really simple task. You run to the butterfly

simple task. You run to the butterfly and you'll find something that is going to be the puzzle. So for this one right here in this zone, it lets out a purple ball and you're just going to run and jump through it. And then there you can

see it gave me some stats as it's popping up. Gave me Kyang exploration,

popping up. Gave me Kyang exploration, exploration mastery, and some other things. Each one of these is going to

things. Each one of these is going to give you stats or items to trade in at the oddities vendor, which we'll touch on in a moment here. We'll just do one more of these as an example. So, right

here, there's a bird. And these puzzles, by the way, are specific to Kyang. So,

it will depend what zone you're in, which puzzles you're going to get. So,

the bird when you shoot it, it drops this art soothe twig, which we'll be able to then go and trade in. And as you can see, it popped up and said it gave me three zone XP and some other rewards.

So, there's two vendors in the game.

When I was completing those little butterfly objectives on the map, they're giving me oddities, and then those oddities are specific to the zone. So,

there's an oddities vendor right here, and that is the oddity vendor for King.

And then there is an oddities vendor right here, and that is the oddity vendor for Cafe. In order to unlock the king oddity vendor is there when you start the game. You run there, he's

there. You just talk to him. The other

there. You just talk to him. The other

one though, for the other zone, you're going to have to complete a little quest right here. But first, now this game is

right here. But first, now this game is awesome, but what about when you want something different or something to play on the go? That's why you have to check out Girls Frontline to Axilium. They've

just launched their massive first anniversary update, including Intertwined and the two-part Deep Oblivion update starting on November 27th and the second part landing on December 18th. These events are loaded

December 18th. These events are loaded with new rewards and new dolls, Leva and Lennena. Plus, you'll be able to obtain

Lennena. Plus, you'll be able to obtain 130 pulse and 13,000 collapse pieces. In

Girls Front Line 2, you'll take the role of commander, leading tactical dolls through dangerous missions. But that's

not all. You can head into the refitting room and dormatory to give gifts to your dolls and check in on them. Or dive into the fully customizable 3D weapon system where you can mix and match the gun parts for your desired builds. Also, the

brand new gameplay system, Crew Deck, is available. Jump into Macato's

available. Jump into Macato's interactive story, also claim 35 outfit access permissions for free. And Kukai's

interactive story is dropping alongside her new outfit. But there's still more.

The new holography function will allow the commander to take the form of Kukai with more dolls becoming available later. They've added new dolls, new

later. They've added new dolls, new weapons, and new outfits like the previously mentioned Leva and Lennena from the original 404 squad. Both of

which are the electric element, but more are coming like Rebella on December 18th. This anniversary update is huge

18th. This anniversary update is huge and includes limited time events, two free outfits, three limited time discounted outfits, Leva, Lena, and Endoris, Flukai's outfit unlocks, and

interactive story scenes. So, make sure you click the link in the description or scan the QR code on screen to jump in now to get the most out of it. Oh, and

don't forget to follow their socials linked below. Massive shout out to Girls

linked below. Massive shout out to Girls Frontline 2 Ailium for sponsoring the video. Thanks for listening. Now, let's

video. Thanks for listening. Now, let's

get back to the video. So, when you enter this zone, you'll get in here and you'll run to this wayfairer cuz that's always the first place you go when you get into a zone. And right next to it, when you're running around this area, a green book will pop up. Go interact with

that person and they'll give you a mini quest to do. Once you complete it, they'll literally jump into the sky and fly away. And that's them retreating to

fly away. And that's them retreating to this location right here. Now, that

green book that I'm describing, it'll look like this little green book just like this one right here. But it'll be located just northwest of this Wayfairer. So you'll complete that and

Wayfairer. So you'll complete that and this oddity vendor right here will pop up. Now you have both oddity vendors

up. Now you have both oddity vendors unlocked. You won't need to worry about

unlocked. You won't need to worry about kiang for your first 20 hours of gameplay. So this is a little bit down

gameplay. So this is a little bit down the line, but when you go to an oddity vendor, let's go talk to one real quick.

So here's the oddity vendor in King. We

talk to him. We say we want to submit our oddities that we found. That's those

little butterflies all over the place.

And we'll be able to put points into these. And it tells us what we're going

these. And it tells us what we're going to get. I'll get 150 XP if I submit one

to get. I'll get 150 XP if I submit one oddity. It says I have seven oddities

oddity. It says I have seven oddities right now. And when you're looking at

right now. And when you're looking at all of these passives, you're probably wondering which one should I get. My

recommendation is to follow the shortest path to the end of this, right? You'll

notice it'll start right here and then you'll just work your way along this line, right? And the objective is

line, right? And the objective is basically to just keep working your way to the right. And by doing so, you're going to be unlocking nodes like this one that give you stats. Max vitality

plus 10 or max endurance plus 5. And

those are probably some of the most important stats that you're unlocking from these oddities until you finally get to this chime bell fragment, which is part of a little quest that you can do in this zone. So once you get this

chime bell fragment, you'll teleport over here to the Moonville Peak landmark teleport right here. You'll go to the top of this building and then right in here there's a bell. you'll go put that

fragment into that bell and then you'll hit the bell and it's going to send out a shock wave that makes you stronger against every boss in this zone. So,

whenever you're farming the bosses in this zone after you do that, they're all going to be easier to farm. So, that's

just a little mini quest that has to do with the oddities that's really nice to complete. Now, the other oddity vendor

complete. Now, the other oddity vendor right here in the northwestern side of Kyang here, come talk to him. Oddity

exchange and you've got a very similar menu where you're filling it out. Once

again, I think the most practical thing to do is continually work your way to the right. And by doing this, you're

the right. And by doing this, you're grabbing the major nodes. What might

happen is if you're moving your way to the right faster than you are getting levels, then you'll see right here, we've clicked on this one for another 10 vitality, but it says we're not level 56 yet. So, you might get to a point where

yet. So, you might get to a point where you've hit level cap and the developers have not allowed you to go far enough to move and get more of these unlocked. So,

at that point, then there's no reason not to start looking for the interesting nodes behind you that you haven't unlocked yet. Maybe you want to upgrade

unlocked yet. Maybe you want to upgrade your physical attack damage. Maybe you

want to upgrade your damage versus monsters, right? There's lots of great

monsters, right? There's lots of great nodes in here. Maybe you want more HP.

Take your pick and grab them. You can't

go wrong. And as you can see, these oddities are really easy to get. You

just go and complete those little mini butterfly puzzles, and you get them quite fast. Okay, so that kind of covers

quite fast. Okay, so that kind of covers oddities, teleport stones, and wayfares, which are going to be three things that you're really focusing on at the beginning of the game whenever you're not doing the main story quest. And as

always with any game, the main story quest is a great thing to focus on as well. When you're doing the main story

well. When you're doing the main story quest, you'll be following this symbol.

This symbol right here will be on the map. Just run to it. Keep doing that

map. Just run to it. Keep doing that until it no longer shows up on the map.

Reasons it won't be there anymore or you don't meet the requirements for the next section, which are often times level based. So, you might not be high enough

based. So, you might not be high enough level to do the next section. It may

want you to go get more experience, things like that. And then the next main story quest will pop up on the map and you'll be able to do it. And if you're ever not sure, just hit J on your keyboard, click it, and right there. Or

if you're on console, come into the menu system, go to the quest right here, and you've got main story, boss chapters, encounters, and exploration. So, this is a good time to go over all of the different types of quests in this game

and why they exist. Main story is pretty self-explanatory. I click on this main

self-explanatory. I click on this main story right here. So, you can come to this quest menu anytime, and if you're not sure where the next one is, you can click on the in progress menu here, or you can go to main story. You can click on it, and then down here, you can say

track quest. When you press that, it's

track quest. When you press that, it's going to take you right to where that is on your map. It's also going to tell you right here what the rewards for this are. And this is a really important

are. And this is a really important section to be aware of. It's on

everything you click on in this map. So,

if you're ever not sure why something is in the game, like you're looking at this little symbol right here, and you're like, "What is this? What's the point of that?" Well, click on it and it'll tell

that?" Well, click on it and it'll tell you what the rewards are that you'll get for completing it. Note where the rewards are going to be crafting materials like eban iron or medical tales. You'll use these to increase the

tales. You'll use these to increase the number of health potions you can carry or exploration XP. Right? See, this

one's giving 30 Kiang exploration.

That's what you need in order to unlock the ability to fly around the zone or to run up walls. Basically, it just makes getting around the zone a lot more fun and a lot more fast once you get those mobility abilities unlocked in the zone.

questing, exploring, everything. It goes

twice as fast and it's three times as fun. So, can't recommend that enough. It

fun. So, can't recommend that enough. It

also says it's going to give us character XP. So, you can click on

character XP. So, you can click on things on this map and that's going to kind of tell you what it's there for because it's not super consistent in terms of what the rewards are. Sometimes

you'll click on something and it will give you a reward and you'll click on another version of that and it'll give you a completely different reward. So,

it's not as simple as being able to say, "Okay, whenever you do one of these, it's always going to give you an inner way unlock like this one does right here." And don't worry, I'll explain

here." And don't worry, I'll explain what inner, but now you know one way to unlock them is right here. And we'll go over that more in depth later. But let's

get back on quests as a whole real quick and finish that out. So that's your main story quest. Now if we back out and we

story quest. Now if we back out and we go to the lost chapters, these are going to be basically side quests that you can complete. And these are quite involved.

complete. And these are quite involved.

They're not as quick as encounters or explorations are. These are going to be

explorations are. These are going to be sometimes a dungeon that you go through with a really fun boss fight. And the

rewards are usually pretty significant as well. As you can see here, 105 zone

as well. As you can see here, 105 zone XP. So, if you're looking to get a lot

XP. So, if you're looking to get a lot of zone XP and you don't want to run from teleport shrine to teleport shrine, boom, here's one way to get 105. Now, is

it faster than running from shrine to shrine? No, because this is basically

shrine? No, because this is basically like touching two teleport shrines. And

completing this is probably going to take you 30 minutes to an hour cuz these are a lot more involved. Now, when you click on them, it's going to tell you what your reward is going to be. So, if

you want to see what the reward is before pursuing it, go ahead. To get

those into your quest log, all you have to do generally is run near them. Once

you go close enough to them, it goes boop. It pops up on your map and says,

boop. It pops up on your map and says, "Hey, there's a quest line that you can follow." If you're on PC, it'll usually

follow." If you're on PC, it'll usually say something like, "Press N to track it." And so, if you press N right then

it." And so, if you press N right then when it pops up, it'll change that to your primary quest that's being tracked over here on the left side of your screen. Otherwise, it gets tossed in

screen. Otherwise, it gets tossed in here with all of the other ones. and you

can come and manually track it whenever you're ready to do it. Encounters are

usually a lot quicker, a lot smaller scale, but these are also side quests.

And they're going to give you various different types of rewards here, including zone exploration. And

sometimes they'll give you titles, and sometimes they'll give you accessories.

The rewards greatly vary, but these are usually pretty quick to do if you ever want to knock some out for some additional zone XP, currency, and so on.

Then we finally got exploration. This

will usually have you running from spot to spot. And for these, it'll show you

to spot. And for these, it'll show you maybe this one here is giving building materials if you wanted to build something. And if you click on one and

something. And if you click on one and it doesn't tell you what the reward is, it'll be because you need to go talk to people first, progress it a little further, and then it's going to tell you what your reward might be. So, those are the different types of quests in the

game. And when it comes to when you

game. And when it comes to when you should do them, it really just depends when you click on it. Do the rewards look compelling to you or not? Is it

something that you really want? You

know, maybe you want to unlock more inner ways, and so you focus on the ones that are giving you inner ways. There is

no wrong order. So, one of the best pieces of advice I can give to someone who's feeling overwhelmed in this game, they open it up, they see all these symbols on the map, they're not sure what they should do. The truth of the matter is there's no wrong order.

Everything you do is progressing you in some way on something that you need progressed, even if you're not sure what that thing is yet. They're all giving you currencies that are going to be used to progress your character. Otherwise,

they're giving you stats that are going to progress your character or they're giving you materials for upgrading that is going to progress your character. all

doing that all the time. And you don't have to fully understand each of those things to know that, hey, just by completing them, I am moving my character in the right direction. But by

the end of this video, you will understand what each of those things is.

And if at any point this feels like, hey, this is a lot of information, feel free to be running around touching these teleport stones while you're listening to this video. Feel free to be doing those little butterfly mini puzzles

because they don't take a lot of brain power. It's just a chill vibe activity

power. It's just a chill vibe activity that you can do while you're absorbing all the information in this massive guide. And by the way, if you're finding

guide. And by the way, if you're finding this video helpful, be sure to hit the like and subscribe button. It helps me way more than you know. Okay, so the next thing that you're going to be seeing as you're running around the world are symbols like this one right

here, and it's a marshall fellowship.

So, you'll go there and there will be a duel with an NPC. I don't generally find these to be terribly difficult, but they are important to do. Same with the archery competitions. You'll see these

archery competitions. You'll see these all over the place. You'll see these ones right here where you have to play a song. It reminds me of playing Guitar

song. It reminds me of playing Guitar Hero basically, but these all have different requirements and they all have different purposes in terms of their rewards. So, the duels have a level

rewards. So, the duels have a level requirement. You will not be able to

requirement. You will not be able to participate in these. You can go and you can talk to the NPC, but if you're not high enough level, they'll basically tell you you're not worthy. Come back

when you are, and then you'll be able to go there and fight them. Right now, I would be able to do this. He requires

level 51. I'm level 55. That's what this is telling me over here. And then my rewards for completing this. It's saying

I'm going to get some tier 51 gear as well as a lingering melody. This is what you use to try and gamble for the best cosmetics in the cash shop. And then

you've got some crafting material, some zone XP, and some character XP and some coin. Great. The archery competitions,

coin. Great. The archery competitions, like many of the other little mini games that you play in here, work a little bit differently. These have different tiered

differently. These have different tiered rewards based on your performance. So

there will be a grade C, B, and A. And

depending on which one you get, you'll get those rewards. So ideally, you just keep doing it over and over until you get your A tier rewards. So if you do it once and you get the Ctier rewards, that's okay. You can do it again and get

that's okay. You can do it again and get those A tier rewards. And here you can see it gives you perception, an aspiration attribute. Now, this is one

aspiration attribute. Now, this is one of those things where when you first start playing the game, you see all these currencies coming in and you have no idea what any of them do and so your brain just kind of ignores all of them.

That's what happens to most people. And

they're just sitting there collecting these and they're acrewing them and they have no idea what they're for. So this

is probably going to be the most helpful part of this entire video is you will understand what those are for. So the

perception aspiration attribute whenever it says it's giving you an aspiration attribute. What it means is if we come

attribute. What it means is if we come here to this menu, we go to develop and then we click on details and then we click on this right here this pickaxe and shovel. We can see exploration

and shovel. We can see exploration attributes which is what it was just talking about and perception right there. I have 112 perception largely

there. I have 112 perception largely acrewed from those archery competitions.

If we click on it, it tells you how do you obtain this? From oddity

collections. So, we collect oddities and then we turn it in for rewards and then also from archery competitions, which is what I was just talking about. So, if

you click on it, it'll take you to an archery competition you haven't done yet. This is how you will get a stat.

yet. This is how you will get a stat.

Let's say I was trying to do a puzzle and it says, "Oh, you can't do that puzzle. You need 55 elegance, but you

puzzle. You need 55 elegance, but you only have 53." Well, you come in here, you click on elegance, and you go, "Okay, how do I get it?" Gourmet mode.

Okay, so this means you talk to a chef in town. You buy both of the meals

in town. You buy both of the meals they're selling, and then you go into your inventory, and you consume those meals. Easy. You'll know it's a chef

meals. Easy. You'll know it's a chef when you see this symbol above their head, and you just purchase the two available meals and consume them. You

open up your inventory, go to new items, bam, you just click consume, click, consume, and you've got the two different elegance points from that NPC.

The kitten hunt is even easier. You see

a kitten in the world, you pet it.

That's it. And for each kitten you pet, you get one elegance. Okay, but the important thing is why do you want these stats? Well, I kind of mentioned one is

stats? Well, I kind of mentioned one is because you can't participate in certain activities without having the prerequisite stats. If these aren't high

prerequisite stats. If these aren't high enough, it's going to gatekeep you out of completing that puzzle and getting that reward. Okay, so that's one reason.

that reward. Okay, so that's one reason.

The other is exploration skills. So, we

click on this up here and here are exploration skills which this really should be called exploration passives.

There's a lot of things in this game likely because it's, you know, being translated from China where the name kind of makes sense but not really. And

so, I think that's greatly adding to the confusion of navigating around these menus. So, these exploration skills are

menus. So, these exploration skills are actually exploration passives. Once you

have achieved the required aspirational attributes, you unlock this passive. So,

this passive right here, rhetoric edge, start with plus two inspiration in a gift of gap. That's another little mini competition that you'll run into out in the world. In order to unlock this, I

the world. In order to unlock this, I need to have 200 total aspiration attributes. If you add them all up, it

attributes. If you add them all up, it has to be at least 200. And

specifically, I need at least 30 in intelligence. Okay, that's how I unlock

intelligence. Okay, that's how I unlock this. And there's different tiers of

this. And there's different tiers of these. So, all of these require 200

these. So, all of these require 200 total. These require 400 total. And then

total. These require 400 total. And then

the last tier down here requires 600 total. And there's some really useful

total. And there's some really useful ones like this one right here. It says

it's going to show the closest chest on the mini map in King or Kyang excluding some hidden chests. This is fantastic for finding all of the chests hidden throughout these zones because they are everywhere and finding them all as a

matter of chance is almost impossible.

So that's going to be really useful.

Okay, I have the perception necessary, but I'm missing the elegance. So we

click on elegance there and it says gourmet mode and kitten hunt. So I need to find those chefs, talk to them, and I need to find those pussycats and I need to pet them. Easy. So that's what your aspirational attributes are and that is

why you want to do all of the little mini challenges in this game. Whether it

is the archery competitions or this symbol right here, it says heal the illness. You go there and you do a

illness. You go there and you do a little miniame where you heal the guy that's going to give you memory aspirational attribute. Each one is

aspirational attribute. Each one is giving you a different aspirational attribute that you're going to eventually need to unlock one of those aspirational passives or as the game calls them, aspirational skills. So, for

archery, you just have to shoot enough of the animals or the birds fast enough to get that one. For the duels, you just have to duel the guy and defeat them to get that. For the graceful melodies, you

get that. For the graceful melodies, you just have to play the melody that comes down in Guitar Hero fashion and then you'll get that reward. If you've

already completed it, you can click on it and it'll have a check mark saying, "Hey, you've already received these rewards." And then if it's something

rewards." And then if it's something that's repeatable, like if we click on this port here, we scroll down, there's first clear rewards. See how it says first clear at the top? Repeatable ones

will show you the first clear rewards if you've never cleared it before. Once

you've cleared it, then it's only going to show you the non first clear rewards.

These are the ones down here that you get every time you clear it, regardless of it's your first or your 10th time. If

for some reason when you're trying to do one of these puzzles and it's too difficult, you can always come back later and it'll be significantly easier once you have leveled up your stats.

Once your character's higher level, once you have leveled that profession higher, let's say it's a healing challenge and you leveled up your healing profession.

Well, then that's going to be a lot easier when you come back later. So, if

you're ever struggling with something in this game, feel free to come back to it later. It'll still be there and it'll

later. It'll still be there and it'll still be relevant. It'll just be easier.

In the pitch pot challenge, you basically drink a substance which inebriates you and then you're basically drunk and you're trying to throw these darts into a vase, and by completing it, it's going to give you some of the

resolve attribute that you'll need to access various passives and puzzles later on. The gift of gab. This one's

later on. The gift of gab. This one's

one of the more confusing ones and I would say probably one of the more difficult ones, but it's also one where you can come back later and then it's really easy to do. So, this is one where

I think people might be a little bit more confused. So, I want to do like a

more confused. So, I want to do like a little walkthrough of one of these. So,

we come over here to this guy and we know if we complete this, we click on it, we're going to get some intelligence. Fantastic. We'll need that

intelligence. Fantastic. We'll need that for some passives and that sort of thing. It's going to give us a career

thing. It's going to give us a career notebook. Now, what the career notebooks

notebook. Now, what the career notebooks do is they allow us to level up our profession. Our professions can be found

profession. Our professions can be found in the menu right here. So, we go to the main menu screen, and there it is.

Profession. We've got two professions.

Healer, scholar. Scholar is what's going to help us with gift of gab. Healer is

what's going to help us with all of the healing challenges throughout the world.

So, we click on scholar. We've got gift of gap right here. And you can upgrade your cards to make it easier when you fight opponents. And the same thing goes

fight opponents. And the same thing goes for healer. We've got basically cards

for healer. We've got basically cards and they're both card games essentially and you can upgrade them to make future fights easier. You can also upgrade

fights easier. You can also upgrade their levels a couple of different ways which when I dive more into the professions right after this section.

Okay, so first let's go over gift of gab. Talk to this guy and we'll say hey

gab. Talk to this guy and we'll say hey let's do it. I want to do the gift of gab with you and we're basically going to get into a verbal fight. You'll have

a screen right there. When you click on it it says this is the recommended style for this fight. So you click that.

Perfect. And we're going to start. Now

this is a time thing. So, the faster you go, the better. But if you hover over it, it's going to tell you what it does.

So, this one says it increases our aspiration recovery by two stacks.

Stacks up to six times. Okay, so that's a good card. When I use a card, it's going to damage his health bar up here.

When he uses one, it's going to damage my health bar down here. And you can see the stats that we're getting and the debuffs under if you're ever curious what they have. There you go. And then

you'll see this pop-up. It says, "Press E." And you'll get this screen that pops

E." And you'll get this screen that pops up. You want to do this when you can.

up. You want to do this when you can.

And you want to select one of these.

I'll take the top one. It does damage.

Below that was an option to get more inspiration. That's the points I spend

inspiration. That's the points I spend to use my cards. And another one was to have a chance to silence him so that he couldn't talk, right? Because this is a verbal argument is what we're playing.

And so we're winning the battle right now because I am much higher level than I'm supposed to be to be doing this one right here. This is one I went back and

right here. This is one I went back and found in the early game. So deal 20 damage and a chance of silence. We'll go

ahead and do that. Right. And basically,

this one is one where until you kind of know what these cards are, you're basically playing faster than you can comprehend because if you're not spending the points as soon as they're available, you're going to lose if you're the appropriate level. Now,

sometimes it'll pop up over here. It's

like Q to use one of your skills. Okay,

we'll do that. Boom. And that took a huge chunk out of him. So, whenever you see E over here or Q over here, you have to press it really quick. Now, the

easiest way to do that is the whole time you're playing this on your keyboard, spam Q and E. Just keep tapping both of them and that way whenever one of those pops up it'll pop up on your screen and you can do it and you don't have to put so much brain power to trying to make

sure you're watching for it because in the thick of battle it'll pop up and it'll be gone before you know it.

Especially the Q hiding over here cuz it's somewhat rare. Okay. And so we're just going to keep playing here and we're going to throw some cards at him.

Boom. We killed his health bar. We won

the battle which gave us career notebook which we're going to use to level up our healing profession or our scholar profession. And it gave us intelligence,

profession. And it gave us intelligence, which is going to unlock those aspirational passives, or as the game calls them, aspirational skills that are just going to be active all the time. It

also gave us a few other things here like currency, stored XP, and king exploration. Now, this is a good time to

exploration. Now, this is a good time to mention that XP in this game, there are caps for your levels, but there's never caps for how much XP you can get. So, if

you've reached the current level cap, the game starts storing that XP. It

gives you stored XP instead of XP. And

then as soon as the level cap is raised or you do your next breakthrough so that you raise your own level cap, and we'll talk about breakthroughs in a moment here. Then every time you kill an enemy,

here. Then every time you kill an enemy, it gives you the XP for that kill as well as some of your stored XP. So,

whenever the level cap is either raised by the developers or raised by you breaking through to the next levels window, then you're going to be leveling super fast because you're always going to be dipping into that stored XP that

it's doing out alongside whatever XP you're earning, which is really nice because that means just because you're level capped doesn't mean you feel like you're wasting your time playing the game because all the XP is going into the void. Quite the opposite. XP is

the void. Quite the opposite. XP is

being stored and it's going to be flooded into your character as soon as your level cap is raised. All right, so that is the gift of gab. Like I

mentioned for that one, the real trick there is just when it's a difficult one, spam Q and E on your keyboard or whatever button it is to interact with your cards or to interact with his cards. The quicktime events that pop up

cards. The quicktime events that pop up there. As long as you're toggling that,

there. As long as you're toggling that, you'll get it when it comes up and you can take advantage of it without missing it. And again, that one was easy because

it. And again, that one was easy because my scholarly profession was leveled up.

So I'm quite overleled for that encounter. And tips for the healing

encounter. And tips for the healing game. When you see the symbol on the map

game. When you see the symbol on the map and you click on it and it says heal the illness. Run over to it and you're going

illness. Run over to it and you're going to use your insight. That's the view right here. This view is going to

right here. This view is going to highlight chests. There's a chest over

highlight chests. There's a chest over there. It's going to highlight

there. It's going to highlight interactable objects. That chest up

interactable objects. That chest up there, like this cooking pot right here, people we can talk to, right? And it's

also going to allow you to hover over this guy right here on the right side of the screen. It says if I press F, I'll

the screen. It says if I press F, I'll be able to heal him. So, we press F and it'll put us into position to go into the healing miniame, which is a card game. It's telling us what he's

game. It's telling us what he's afflicted with. Now, if you are strong

afflicted with. Now, if you are strong enough, you'll be able to do quick treatment and skip the miniame altogether. If your healing skill is not

altogether. If your healing skill is not leveled up enough, then you'll have to do it manually. And it's possible if you're too lowle, it won't even let you try. So, we'll start treatment. I'm

try. So, we'll start treatment. I'm

going to do it manually so I can show you guys how this works. So, what's

happening here in this game is he's got a health bar we have to destroy. We've

also got a health bar that his disease might try to destroy. So, if we kill his health bar before he kills ours, we win.

There's also a timer counting down. If

we run out of time, we'll lose. So, the

most easy to miss piece of information is the game tells you what he's going to do next. It's telling us he's going to

do next. It's telling us he's going to use a shield next. Now, we know he's going to play defensively on his next turn. He's not going to attack us. So,

turn. He's not going to attack us. So,

we don't have to worry about shielding ourselves because our shield would expire before he attacked. It would be a wasted move. So, what we're going to do

wasted move. So, what we're going to do since we know he's going to cast a shield next is we're going to go as offensive as possible. So, we're going to look for the ones that say they do the most damage. Like this one right here. It says it's going to do 330%

here. It says it's going to do 330% physiootherapy damage. That's what we

physiootherapy damage. That's what we want to use. Then we're going to just check and see. Is there a debuff we could use first? Reduce his defense by 30% for two turns, which is going to enhance this damage, right? So, that's

probably a great play. We don't need any of these defensive cards over here cuz we know he's going to cast shield next.

So, we're going to debuff him so that this big 330% hits, it's really hard.

Boom. There it goes. Now, we know he's going to cast shield. His turn. We're

out of points down here. The first one cost one point. That's what the little one is right there, saying it's going to cost one of these three fiery points.

And then the other one was a two-pointer, so it costed two. So that's

my three points have been spent. Go

space. Continue. Now he's going to play his turn. He uses a shield like the game

his turn. He uses a shield like the game had forecast for us, letting us know what he was going to do. Now it tells us he's also going to cast shield again. So

we don't have to worry about putting a shield on oursel because he's not going to attack us. These shields last one turn. So if you put the shield on

turn. So if you put the shield on yourself and he doesn't hit you, it's wasted. So we could go with Let's see.

wasted. So we could go with Let's see.

We'll go with the big damage card again.

There we go. And we will go with another damage card. Perfect. There he goes. He

damage card. Perfect. There he goes. He

castes his shield just like it said he would. Now, since we're about to win

would. Now, since we're about to win this fight, let me just explain what some of these other cards do. This card

right here, it costs zero fiery hearts.

It says it will consume 4% of our HP and give us a fiery heart. So, we could use this and it's going to take some of our HP, but it's going to give us another fiery heart. Boom. So, we're trading

fiery heart. Boom. So, we're trading some of our vitality for an extra turn potentially, right? Let's see what else

potentially, right? Let's see what else we got here. This one right here, it says deal 80% physiootherapy and draws one prescription. So that means when I

one prescription. So that means when I use this, it's going to give me a new card as well. So I'm going to place a card down. We'll just go ahead and do

card down. We'll just go ahead and do it. But it's also going to give me a

it. But it's also going to give me a card at random. Boom. So now we got another card. So that way if you don't

another card. So that way if you don't like any of the cards that you have.

That one's kind of nice. It gives you a chance to maybe get one of these two point ones here. That's going to do big damage. So now we'll use this. Boom.

damage. So now we'll use this. Boom.

There we go. And we have won. So now

it's going to give us our rewards. This

was a really interesting battle. He just

casting shield on himself over and over again. But on the bright side, it

again. But on the bright side, it allowed me to demonstrate kind of how these cards work and how the fights work. And hopefully that kind of clears

work. And hopefully that kind of clears up that miniame for you. Basically, what

I have found is play it as offensively as you can. And that's going to work out 99% of the time. And whenever you see him getting ready to attack, feel free to use as much offensive cards as you

can before placing a shield with your last point and then letting him attack you. Your shield should eat most of the

you. Your shield should eat most of the damage, if not all of his attack. and

then you can go back to the offense when you see him saying that he's going to cast a shield on his next turn. Now, by

healing those people, we're getting these things called career notebooks.

That's one of the most important items that we're receiving for completing those challenges, right? We're also

getting those attribute stats that are unlocking the passives we discussed earlier. But these are for upgrading our

earlier. But these are for upgrading our profession. So, career notebooks that

profession. So, career notebooks that you receive from healing, you receive from gift of gab. You can use these to upgrade either profession, healing or scholar. So, if we come back here to the

scholar. So, if we come back here to the main menu, click on profession, we've got the two options, scholar, hit upgrade, and boom, you'll be able to upgrade it here. In fact, I've got 16 out of 16. So, I could upgrade this

right now and improve my scholar level.

Alternatively, I could go to healer, and I could go to healer upgrade here at the top left, and I can click upgrade. And

it says I need 64 of these to level my healer up again cuz my healer is already an expert, so we can't quite do that yet. So, that's how you level those up.

yet. So, that's how you level those up.

If you run to one of the healing quests and you can't do it because you haven't unlocked the profession yet, come here to profession, click on the healer, just click that and it's going to tell you where to go. Now, let's talk about the Everare Clinic and talk to the lady

here. Now, she's important for a couple

here. Now, she's important for a couple of reasons. One is you can have her heal

of reasons. One is you can have her heal you. Also, she has another purpose. This

you. Also, she has another purpose. This

game has healing potions. So, if we press control right now, you can see we've got these healing potions. You

start out by being able to carry three of these at a time, which means in any encounter, you'll be able to use three of them until you die. And then if you die, it resets and you can use three

more. You can only use three per try.

more. You can only use three per try.

And then if you come to her, talk to her and you'll be able to go to submit medical tales. This is a reward you get

medical tales. This is a reward you get for completing various activities in this game. And this is going to

this game. And this is going to increase, see maximum carryable medicines to four. So every few levels, it's going to add to this. So the next level might be five. And then a few

levels later it might be six, right?

This is how you're going to increase the number of them that you can carry is by collecting medicinal tales. So when you see that one of the challenges gives you medicinal tales. Boom. There you go. Now

medicinal tales. Boom. There you go. Now

if you ever need to upgrade but you don't have enough of the material, you can click on it. So we click on that and it tells us right here how to obtain Jingu legacy completion. So we click on that. All right. Looks like all of this

that. All right. Looks like all of this is already complete. What else could we do? World boss elimination rewards. So

do? World boss elimination rewards. So

we can come here. We can do the world bosses. We can eliminate them. Try and

bosses. We can eliminate them. Try and

get some that way. Right there. See, it

gave us three for killing that boss. And

area exploration rewards. So, it gives them in this area once you've leveled up enough. So, there's a few different ways

enough. So, there's a few different ways to get it, but just know that that's how you increase the number of potions you can hold on you. If you're doing a healing challenge and you're struggling, it might be because your cards are too

low level, right? Because it's

essentially a card game. But you'll

notice here, these have levels.

Channeling therapy, level two, but Essential Remedies is only level one.

Now, how do we level these up? What you

do is you click on the one you want to upgrade and it says what you'll need is essential remedies. Well, you don't have

essential remedies. Well, you don't have any of those. How do we get the essential remedy prescription so that we can upgrade this one? That's where a new menu comes into play. Okay, so the shop,

this is one of many times we'll dip into the shop today cuz the shop is both where you'll buy items for real money, like cosmetics if you want to, but it's also where you'll exchange the currencies you collect in this game for

items that you need in this game. So,

we'll come over here to offers and then we'll click on exchange shop. Now, this

is where the various currencies you've collected in game are going to be exchanged for items that you'll need to progress in this game. So, season shop, we click that and what do we have here?

We have upgrade materials for gear. We

have inner way upgrade materials and unlock materials. We have martial arts

unlock materials. We have martial arts materials. But if we come down here to

materials. But if we come down here to profession, we've got our profession development materials. So, career

development materials. So, career notebooks, we could buy those. It's only

going to cost us four. So, we could buy loads of those because look how many we have. We have 48,975

have. We have 48,975 of these. So, if you're looking at this

of these. So, if you're looking at this and you're like, I don't know if I want to spend my jadeish buying some of these. It's a drop in the bucket

these. It's a drop in the bucket relative to what you're going to be collecting. You get jadefish from doing

collecting. You get jadefish from doing literally everything in this game.

Everything you do in this game is going to pop up and it's going to give you 10 jade fish at a time or more. So, you're

going to constantly see that trickling in. When you do a quest, when you kill

in. When you do a quest, when you kill an enemy, when you eat a food, when you do anything, it's going to throw you some jade fish. So, you're not short on the supply. So, if we come here to the

the supply. So, if we come here to the healer gift box, and it's going to give us one at random, right? So, we don't get to control what we get, which is going to be the case with a lot of things in this game, right? They've

definitely got the gambling nature going on in there. So, we're going to purchase. Let's purchase a couple of

purchase. Let's purchase a couple of them or 100. Now, we can press T and it's going to use the item, but I want to show you where it is in case you guys ever have to go hunting for it. So,

we'll go into our main menu. We'll go to our bag, or you can just open straight to bag with B if you're on PC. And then

items. And here it is right there. the

gift boxes that we just purchased. Okay,

so we can open all. Boom. So, we got one for bone setting, for example, and we got another one here. So, now with that, what we can do is we can go back to our profession. We can go to our healer, and

profession. We can go to our healer, and you see the little green up arrow, bone setting, we can upgrade this now. So,

instead of doing 80% damage multiplier, it's going to do a 100% damage multiplier. Cool. So, we'll click on

multiplier. Cool. So, we'll click on that, click upgrade. Boom. There we go.

So, now we've just upgraded our card.

Whenever we play that card while we're doing this miniame, it's going to be much easier. And I only spent 100 out of

much easier. And I only spent 100 out of my almost 50,000 fish to get that upgrade. So, it's very worthwhile,

upgrade. So, it's very worthwhile, especially if you're playing this miniame and you're struggling with it.

Go ahead and upgrade your cards. There's

no reason not to do that. Now you know how. Really easy. Likewise, the same

how. Really easy. Likewise, the same thing works for scholar, gift of gab.

You can do the exact same thing for that if you want to in the same store. So,

that covers your professions, healing and scholar, which encompasses healing and gift of gab essentially. One last

thing under the healing tab is if we go over to medicine here, we can craft those heals we were talking about that you're using, right? Because you do have a finite amount of them and so you'll need to collect things in order to craft

more of them. Generally speaking, the game gives you at least as many as you're going to need unless you're doing difficult content and then you can burn through them pretty fast. But if you're just going around doing all the solo content, it's very possible you will

never run out and need to craft these manually. But if you get into the

manually. But if you get into the situation where you're doing something really difficult and you do burn through them, then this is where you'll come craft more. So here you'll see meat

craft more. So here you'll see meat scraps. So you kill animals, herbs,

scraps. So you kill animals, herbs, collect some herbs. And this is why you always want to pick up flowers. You

always want to pick up herbs. Whenever

you're running around and you see something glowing on the floor, pick it up. You have unlimited inventory to hold

up. You have unlimited inventory to hold those things. There's no reason not to

those things. There's no reason not to pick them up. And you will eventually need them for something. The animals in this game will give you meat scraps, but they'll also give you the crafting materials at the same time that you need to upgrade your gear, which we'll touch

on in a second. So, this basic heal, you can see it costs meat scraps and herbs.

Those are the two items. But the slightly improved heal, the one above that, which is going to give you twice as much HP, that one gives you 4,000.

The basic one gives you 2,000 and it gives you 21% of your max HP, 4,000.

Right? So, that's why it's better, giving you twice as much HP for the flat bonus, and then 1% more for the max. And

here you need Buddhist tier. These

little purple flowers, you'll see them as you're running around. If you've been playing this game a lot, you've probably seen them 100 times, but you didn't take the three extra steps to run out of your straight line to go grab it. Now you

know, hey, when I see the purple flowers, I need to go grab those because that's how I make the improved health potions. Now you know that's where you

potions. Now you know that's where you craft more potions. Now, to use your potion on PC, it's X. So, you can use your potion to heal yourself, and it's a very solid heal. It's a big chunk of

heal. You can also use a fan. If you do

heal. You can also use a fan. If you do equip a fan or a healing item like the umbrella or the fan, you can use these to heal yourself. All of the fan's abilities are going to heal you, and some of them are going to heal other

people as well. If you hold down alt on PC, it's going to bring up the alternate menus. So over here, it brings up your

menus. So over here, it brings up your second set of four inner. You've got the first four that are shown right now.

Hold alt, it shows you the second four.

And then down here, you can toggle through your various items down here.

So, I guess these would be your consumables. And then randomly, a

consumables. And then randomly, a fishing pole for some reason is in that menu as well. So, if we hold alt down, we can leftclick and it goes to our fire oil, which we can then use to coat our

weapon in fire. Now, whenever we shoot with it, it's shooting a fire imbued attack. We could also do that on our

attack. We could also do that on our sword. See, now our sword is also fire

sword. See, now our sword is also fire imbued. We only had to use it once and

imbued. We only had to use it once and it imbued both weapons. So, if you're fighting a boss that's weak to fire, it's obviously really helpful. Or if

you're fighting a boss that's on fire, then perhaps what you would want to do is come into your bag, go to your quick use tab right here, and aqua wax temper weapons with water elements. We click on it once, and then down here, we click

equip. Boom. Now, if we use it, and

equip. Boom. Now, if we use it, and we're going to add water damage to our tags. I can think of a flaming boss on a

tags. I can think of a flaming boss on a horse that might be perfect for.

Continuing on with the UI here, since we're talking about UI, is going to be your reabilities. So, right now we have

your reabilities. So, right now we have Q, we have build, and sometimes you'll have follow-up abilities, so you can press it more than once. One triggers

the other, and as you level up the weapon art, you're going to unlock more and more abilities. And then tab switches to the other weapon and uses its ability. So, if I press tab again,

its ability. So, if I press tab again, it switches back to the sword. And when

that cools down, if I switch to the fan, it uses a fan attack and heals me simultaneously. Then, we can do mouse

simultaneously. Then, we can do mouse wheel up to toggle over to our bow. So,

that we can use that. And we can mouse wheel again to go back to our weapons.

Whenever you want to switch between weapons, I highly recommend using tab, not mouse wheel, because it can be real finicky to try to mouse wheel to the appropriate weapon if you're already on one, just use tab. As long as you're not trying to go bow, which you're very

rarely going to want to go for your bow in combat, then tab is going to be the play. And then eventually you're going

play. And then eventually you're going to unlock R or a charged ability, which that's what it looks like here with this sword. Each weapon is going to have its

sword. Each weapon is going to have its own set of abilities with its own specific stats and damage or AOE or crowd control effects attached to it.

And then continuing on, we've got the menu. If you ever want to open up your

menu. If you ever want to open up your menu or get to one of these red dots, and you'll see while you're playing this game, another great name for it would have been Where wins menus because they love to separate things into lots and

lots of little menus inside of little menus inside of little menus. If I had any critique for this game, it would be the menu system. The UI is both the best part of this game and the worst part of this game. I think it's the best part

this game. I think it's the best part when it comes to clicking on an item and learning everything about it instantly.

where to get it, what it's for, what it does. Clicking on an item, oh, it's

does. Clicking on an item, oh, it's beautiful. It's one of the best designs

beautiful. It's one of the best designs I've seen in any game ever. Tells you

everything you could possibly want to know about that item. But then when it comes to these red dots that are just tucked inside of things, inside of other things, sometimes you'll click on a red dot, and then there's another red dot, and then there will be another red dot.

And sometimes you'll go into the menu system, and you won't be able to find out where the red dot is. Don't feel bad if that happens to you. Eventually,

you'll kind of figure out where they all tend to be hidden. But yeah, just one minor rant about the UI in this game is the menus within the menus. I think

they've got too many menu systems tucked into too many other menu systems in this game. So that's a shortcut to get into

game. So that's a shortcut to get into any of these, but also you can just hit escape. It's the same exact buttons that

escape. It's the same exact buttons that are appearing up here. Okay. Then here

you've got mode switch. This is where you can switch between solo and online mode. Solo is where you'll go and you'll

mode. Solo is where you'll go and you'll do the questing and the open world exploration and chest hunting and all of that stuff. online mode, you lose the

that stuff. online mode, you lose the ability to do a lot of content, but you gain the ability to see other people in the world.

>> You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it.

>> And if we come over here, we've got limited time. It's telling us that

limited time. It's telling us that there's a limited time event going on.

We click on that. There's a parade list.

And then we've got our mini map and our quest objective, our current quest objective. And then over here, it's

objective. And then over here, it's telling you you can press U to see your team if you're in one. You can press F2 to use your default emote. You can open up your emotes and you can open up chat.

Now, one of the first choices you're going to have to make while you're playing the game is the weapons that you're going to use. And there's no right or wrong combination of weapons.

I'm using a sword and a fan so that I have the offensive damage, but then I also have the defensive healing while I'm soling my way around the world. It

just works out really well. Now, when

you're doing group content, then you might want to focus on DPS, or you might want to focus on healing, or you might want to focus on tanking. You might want to try to have a specific load out for group content that allows you to

specialize in one specific task or not.

You know, that's totally up to you. But

when it comes to choosing your weapon, you'll be playing the game and you'll find weapons. But in order to use the

find weapons. But in order to use the weapon, you're going to have to know the martial art. So, for instance, in order

martial art. So, for instance, in order to use the vernal umbrella, it's grayed out. I don't have it. In order to get

out. I don't have it. In order to get this martial arts, I have to obtain it.

So, I click obtain and it tells me you got to go here and you've got to use skill theft to get this martial art. So,

I'd go and I'd watch someone using the skill basically and I'd steal the ability. I'd learn from them how to use

ability. I'd learn from them how to use this item. Sometimes you're given that

this item. Sometimes you're given that as a quest reward. Sometimes you have to watch someone use it and you have to steal it from them. It really just depends on the weapon. Once you've

chosen the weapon that you want to use, then you can level up the weapon. So, if

we look at this soul shade umbrella that I have, I can upgrade it. It's this

button right here. And the first set of upgrades are only going to cost gold.

And we get tons of gold in this game.

So, you don't have to feel bad about getting any weapon, right? We're going

to use it. Still gold, gold, gold, gold all the way to 20. All it's costing is gold. Then, we have to do a

gold. Then, we have to do a breakthrough, which once again, it's just going to cost gold. Okay. And every

10 levels, you have to do a breakthrough. So, we've done that. This

breakthrough. So, we've done that. This

breakthrough increased our minimum physical attack based on our agility.

And then, it tells us how much that is down here. Then, we kick continue. And

down here. Then, we kick continue. And

we could continue to upgrade this weapon. It's telling us in order to keep

weapon. It's telling us in order to keep upgrading this weapon though, it's now going to start using tiger bone liquor.

Now, it's 21. And as you get higher level with the weapon, it's going to require different ingredients. And if

you ever don't have an ingredient that you need to upgrade it, you just click on it. Like I said, fantastic part about

on it. Like I said, fantastic part about this game's UI says you can get this ingredient from Buddha for grunts.

Buddha fort elite, right? And you just click on it and it's going to take you to where one is. You go over there, you kill those guys, and you're going to get that ingredient. So that's how you

that ingredient. So that's how you upgrade your weapons. And your weapons can upgrade to the level that your character is. So if we back out to this

character is. So if we back out to this screen right here, my character is level 55. So, we go to my weapon and it won't

55. So, we go to my weapon and it won't let us upgrade it, but it does say martial arts breakthrough. So, we click that and it says in order to break through, what we need to do is find bell strike splender tips. I have zero of

eight and I need scarlet flame ointment.

I have 41, but I only need three. And it

tells us when we break through to tier four. This is what it's going to give

four. This is what it's going to give us. Some stat upgrades right here. Okay.

us. Some stat upgrades right here. Okay.

So, how do we get these? The bell

strike. We click on it. We get these from a martial arts custom tips. I have

six of these. I click on it. I could

choose to take that as a reward. I have

six. I need eight. That would still leave me too short. What else can I do to get them? A season shop. Okay, we go to the season shop. Martial arts custom tip. So, it's going to cost 160. Let's

tip. So, it's going to cost 160. Let's

go ahead and purchase one for science here. You guys see how that works.

here. You guys see how that works.

Again, I could just press T to use it here, but I'm going to go into my inventory in case you guys missed that.

Going to go to the bag. Going to go to the items. There is. Now, I have seven of these open. And once again, I could choose what I get. What I need is Bell Strike Splender tips. So, I need eight of those. So, we're actually going to

of those. So, we're actually going to buy one more. So, we're going to go to our inventory. We're going to click on

our inventory. We're going to click on these. We're going to open. We want

these. We're going to open. We want

bellstrike [clears throat] splender tips. This is what's going to

splender tips. This is what's going to allow us to break through our sword. We

want all eight. We need eight. Confirm.

Continue. Now, when we go back to develop, we go to our sword. We click

breakthrough. There we go. We have eight bellstrike splender tips. Break through.

Boom. Now, our sword is tier four. And

we can upgrade it again. So, it tells us it's going to cost coin and pine resin ointment. We just keep doing it until it

ointment. We just keep doing it until it reaches the same level that we are. Now,

it's stopped. And it tells us right here. We can do this again when solo

here. We can do this again when solo mode reaches level seven understanding.

So, we click on that and it says level seven understanding unlocks in seven days.

So, we are as far as we can go. This

game does have time gating. Now,

depending on when you're watching this video, you might run into that time gating as it's letting us go through the content slowly over time. Or if you're starting way after everyone else, the time gating may not really affect you.

So, that is how you upgrade your weapon.

That is how you do your breakthroughs.

That's how you get the materials necessary to do your breakthroughs. And

again, if you're ever missing something, you can just click on it and you can either get it from the shop like we showed or you can get it from the other items, it says. Okay, so we could also get it from the campaign challenges. We

can come in here. We could do these which will give us these chests. You

don't have to buy these things from the shop. And at times you may even want to

shop. And at times you may even want to save the shop or a last resort. Maybe

you've done all your challenges for the time being or you've exhausted the other options. So the shop is your final

options. So the shop is your final option. Or maybe you just don't want to

option. Or maybe you just don't want to deal with going and doing those tasks.

you want the levels now that you can just keep progressing faster. Totally up

to you. All right, so now you've picked a weapon. You know how to upgrade your

a weapon. You know how to upgrade your weapon. You know how to use your weapon.

weapon. You know how to use your weapon.

A lot of that stuff is going to be locked behind your solo mode level as we mentioned. And to increase your solo

mentioned. And to increase your solo mode level, basically all you're going to do is level up, level up, level up, and then when the time comes, you're going to do a breakthrough on your solo mode level, which is just going to take you to a little arena to fight waves of

enemies. And once you've beat all of

enemies. And once you've beat all of them, boom, your breakthrough is complete. It's very simple. It's very

complete. It's very simple. It's very

easy. And to do that, you just click right here and then you'll click breakthrough when it's available. Right

now, it just says unlocks in seven days for me. So, I can't really show that to

for me. So, I can't really show that to you at the moment. Now, let's finish off the develop section here because you know your way around the bag. You've got

your different sections here showing you everything in here as well as all the currencies that you can earn. And then

you can spend these in that shop I talked about. If you're ever wondering

talked about. If you're ever wondering what these are for, it tells you right here, use it at the Red Gold Boutique.

This is your guild shop. We'll get more into guilds in a bit, but let's stay on task here. So, for develop because this

task here. So, for develop because this is going to be a really important screen for you. Next, we've got innerways on

for you. Next, we've got innerways on this screen. Innerways are passives that

this screen. Innerways are passives that you can unlock. Sometimes these passives are actually abilities. Sometimes

they're simply passives. So, for

example, this sword right here that I have equipped, this is a buff. It says,

"When no man's sword charged skill, Vagrant sword, is charged while the key shield is present, it unleashes multiple additional sword energy attacks." Okay,

what in the heck does that mean? So,

what that means for this weapon is normally when I do my charge attack, it unleashes one wave. But if I do it after my key shield is up, so which we can get up by using our Q a few times. There's

the key shield around me. Now I hold it and it shoots three of those attacks at the enemy. Massive, massive damage when

the enemy. Massive, massive damage when I use that ability while my key shield is up. So that's one example of an

is up. So that's one example of an interweave. Alternatively, you have

interweave. Alternatively, you have interwe like this one where it's just a passive. But within 12 seconds upon

passive. But within 12 seconds upon entering combat, if HP falls below 60%, you gain snow vision for 4 seconds, restoring 2% HP and 600 HP per second, and it can trigger once every 300 seconds. Sometimes the passives are

seconds. Sometimes the passives are truly passive, or sometimes they are kind of like passively buffing an ability that you have. So, you actively have to do something to trigger them.

Now, how do you get inner ways? How do

you unlock these? Good question. So, we

scroll down to one that we don't have yet. Right here, it's got the green up

yet. Right here, it's got the green up arrow, which means we have the material necessary to get this, right? So we can press comprehend inner way and it's telling us what it's going to do. It's

going to use this soulwave tome inner way complete. It's all we would want to

way complete. It's all we would want to use this for. So boom, there it goes.

Now we have unlocked it. Now each inner way has its own skill tree inside of it that you can use to buff that inner way further. So if you really like an inner

further. So if you really like an inner way, you can focus on it. So the first passive in this one would reduce herbal resonance's cool down to 1 second. Cool.

Sounds nice. But we don't have the materials. We have zero and we would

materials. We have zero and we would need 10. Okay. So once again, click on

need 10. Okay. So once again, click on it. How do we get those 10? innerway

it. How do we get those 10? innerway

note chest. Okay, we click on this and we have four of these chests. Now, the

thing about these chests, it says it contains a random inner note. So, unlike

the last chest where we got to pick the thing we needed without having to gamble for it, these ones require you to gamble for it. So, I could use all four of

for it. So, I could use all four of these and very likely I would use all four of these and I wouldn't get the innerway note that I wanted. That's just

how the cookie crumbles a lot of the time with these innerway note upgrades.

So, don't expect it to be upgrading your inner ways really fast unless you're really diving into that. Now, another

thing you could do is you could come down here to the tips exchange because you're going to get a lot of stuff that you don't need, and you can basically trade for sets that you want to get in here. You've also got this conversion.

here. You've also got this conversion.

So, there is a path to turning the ones you're not going to use into ones that you might use. So, that's your inner ways. Eventually, you're going to slot

ways. Eventually, you're going to slot four of them, and these are mostly passives that buff things that you do while you're playing the game. Finally,

we have mystic skills. These are actual abilities that you're going to use. So

you can have eight of them slotted at a time. You can have four and then you

time. You can have four and then you hold down alt or whatever your alt button is on console and you're going to be able to see the other four that you're going to be able to use. Now

these ones are colorcoded. These are

puzzles. And I highly recommend having the puzzle ones bound because you are going to use these a lot. You're going

to use them in combat. You're going to use them out of combat. You're going to use them all the time. Some bosses will have a call out saying, "Use this one right now since I have it bound to two."

the boss will show a two over top of its head and I need to press it real quick to stop whatever that boss is about to do that might kill me. The throw

ability, this one right here, you use this one to throw bears especially into rock piles or you could use it to throw large enemies off of cliffs, whatever you want to do. It comes in handy a lot.

Then you've got celestial seas. This is

the one you're going to use when there's a chest, but every time you try to open it, somebody says, "Hey, you can't be going into that chest. That's my chest."

And you're like, "Oh, I need to step 10 ft away and use celestial seas on it."

You don't have to go really far away.

You don't have to go out of line of sight. You just have to step back and

sight. You just have to step back and use this to steal his stuff. And then

finally here, you've got Meridian Touch, which you'll have to use for a lot of puzzles to freeze people in a certain position. Like there will be a bunch of

position. Like there will be a bunch of people doing something out of sync. And

so you'll have to freeze them and then unfreeze them so that they're doing it in sync. They're doing the dance in sync

in sync. They're doing the dance in sync or they're doing the woriing pose in sync. Whatever it is that they're doing,

sync. Whatever it is that they're doing, you'll use that one a lot for that. You

can also use this one to stun enemies in combat. when someone's about to do an

combat. when someone's about to do an ability. Some boss fights, it'll pop up

ability. Some boss fights, it'll pop up saying, "Press this button now." And

you'll knock them down when they're in the middle of an attack. Once again, so those ones are highly, highly useful.

Definitely have those equipped. Then

you've got other ones that you'll be unlocking as you're playing the game.

Area debuffs, area damage, support skills, and you can use any one of these that you want to. It's all about what's fun to you. What do you enjoy? Play

around with all of them and then settle on what it is that you like. And again,

just like everything else in this game, you can see green up arrows here because we can upgrade these, right? So, we

could come here to this one, for example, and we can upgrade it. And it

says it's going to use two of my Eban iron, which I get from outpost challenges, joint battles, the event dawn to dusk, and open world expiration.

It tells us what it's going to do.

Physical attack damage is going to go up ever so slightly from 11 to 12. And

vital spot breaking damage is going to go from 33 to 36. It's not a massive upgrade. It's not going to massively

upgrade. It's not going to massively increase the damage of this ability because this is not a damaging ability.

It's more of a interrupt, if you will.

So, let's go ahead and upgrade. There we

go. Right. And I've still got loads of that I can spend upgrading various inner ways depending on which one I really want to invest all of these points into.

I haven't decided yet because I haven't ever hit a point where I'm struggling so bad that I need these to be upgraded in order to win that fight, right? That

just hasn't happened yet where the battle was so close that that was going to be the deciding factor. Next, we have gear. So, you're going to be getting

gear. So, you're going to be getting loads of gear in this game. And the gear that's an upgrade, you're obviously going to equip, right? However, there's

going to be gear that you collect that's not an upgrade. But fortunately, there's a use for that. Okay. Okay, there's

actually multiple uses for that in this game. One use for that gear is going to

game. One use for that gear is going to be your arsenal when you unlock this.

Now, you won't unlock this right away, but when you do around level 41, you'll be able to come in here and equip the best gear that you are not wearing essentially. You'll be able to put it in

essentially. You'll be able to put it in here, and it's going to give you a mastery bonus. Slight little bonus

mastery bonus. Slight little bonus there, making use of basically handme-down gear. You take something

handme-down gear. You take something off, you put it on your arsenal, and you're slightly stronger for it.

Alternatively, if we click on our primary weapon here, another thing we can do with gear is we can tune gear.

What does that mean? So, if we come in here to tune, we can click here, consume materials, tier 51, and we'll be able to put these items in there. So, we can put this one in here. It says when used as a tuning material, the next tuned aics is

guaranteed to be purple or above. Okay,

cool. Put that in. And then we will also slap in max physical attack. Okay, so

we've slapped those two items in there.

It says it's going to cost us 900. And

then we're going to tune selected materials include high rarity. Continue.

Sure. Precision rate 2%. Continue. So we

have our max spell strike attack. We

have precision rate 2%. Alternatively,

we could throw a large tuning stone in there. We'll throw one of them in there.

there. We'll throw one of them in there.

Tune. And it's going to unlock a random set as well. So execution damage boost 1.3%. Cool. We've just added stats to

1.3%. Cool. We've just added stats to our weapon through tuning. Another thing

we could do is we could enhance it. So

we click enhance and that takes us to this menu right here. Now, you may have looked at this menu from a different approach before, so we'll do it the way most people get to that. That's here,

enhance. So, if you're in the develop menu and you click on enhance, here's each piece of gear that you can enhance.

Now, the nice thing about enhancing your gear here is that it applies to every piece of gear that is ever equipped in that slot. So, this first one is the

that slot. So, this first one is the weapon in your left hand or your dominant weapon, right? Your primary

weapon. Then, this one is the weapon in your right hand or your secondary weapon. And it tells you what that is

weapon. And it tells you what that is currently. When you upgrade it here, it

currently. When you upgrade it here, it doesn't matter what weapon you equip.

It's going to be upgraded by this much right here. So when you put on a new

right here. So when you put on a new weapon, this upgrade carries over to the new weapon. Okay? So it's permanent. You

new weapon. Okay? So it's permanent. You

don't have to worry about like, oh, I don't want to do it because I don't like the weapon I'm wearing that much. No,

you can do it. So here, this armor, my chest armor, I can upgrade this. It's

going to give me more at max HP, more max defense. So it tells me right here

max defense. So it tells me right here what it's going to cost. It's going to cost eight oscillating jade out of the 284 I have. It's going to cost five corpor out of the six that I currently have. And it's going to cost some gold.

have. And it's going to cost some gold.

Now, the limiting reagent is often times the middle one right here. And this is why I say when you're playing this game, always kill everything that you run by in the wild. Okay, you're going to feel bad killing deer. [laughter] There's one

that looks remarkably like Bambi and I have to shoot it every time I run by just because I'm so short on this course for and I always feel a little bit bad.

Okay [laughter] but I need to upgrade this gear. Look

it. I need course for here. I need

course for here. I need these materials for upgrading my gear and I'm very short on it. So, whenever you run by a wolf, a

on it. So, whenever you run by a wolf, a deer, an elk, a bear, make sure you do kill them because you will need it to upgrade all of these gear. So, we'll go ahead and do that. Enhance. Now, look,

it says, "I only have one, but I need five." So, what we can do is we can

five." So, what we can do is we can click on it, and it tells you all the ways that you can get this. You can hunt giant elk, deer, greywolf, or you can go to the season shop and buy it. What you

do is you just click here, hunt elk, and it's going to take you. It says, "Hey, there's elk here, here, here, here, here." So, you can just run over here,

here." So, you can just run over here, kill the elk that are here, kill the elk that are here. It says there's three of them right here. Seven elk right here.

12 elk right here. Loads. You can get loads of it really fast when you focus on it. So that's how you enhance your

on it. So that's how you enhance your gear. And like I said, this applies to

gear. And like I said, this applies to every piece of gear you ever put on. So

this is one you never have to worry about spending currency upgrading.

Whereas the previous one we were tuning.

If you know you're going to ditch this weapon really soon, h sometimes you may not want to tune. Right now the final menu inside of your develop menu, right?

We're still in this develop menu.

Talents. So, the first talents that you're going to see and spend time upgrading are these ones right here, your basic talents. And these are going to be useful throughout the entire game.

Some of them are really nice. It unlocks

the slots for your mystic skills. At

first, you'll get up to four and then you'll unlock more until you have eight total that you can use. Four on the front and then four on your alternate.

What we were talking about earlier, that's these ones on the bottom right there. I hold alt and it switches those

there. I hold alt and it switches those four. That's how you get more of that.

four. That's how you get more of that.

You also get special skills for your martial arts. like all kinds of really

martial arts. like all kinds of really good stuff in here. So, whenever you get talents, I definitely recommend hopping in here and then spending on them.

Again, it's one of the situations where it's never a bad idea to keep pushing right as far as it will let you.

Sometimes you won't be able to get something because it will say you either don't have the talent points necessary or you don't have the requirements necessary. It says max HP. I need 50k,

necessary. It says max HP. I need 50k, but I only have 26k right now. So,

there's going to be different requirements and sometimes it's as simple as having the talent point to spend and sometimes there's more to it than that. But generally, you can't go

than that. But generally, you can't go wrong. Once again, you're going to be

wrong. Once again, you're going to be able to get all of them. And that's the nice thing about the menus like this one or the oddities is eventually you will have enough points to grab all of them.

So, you don't have to worry about grabbing the wrong ones. The last option here in this menu is repair. Now, it's

very unlikely you'll need to repair gear as you're leveling up because you replace stuff way before its durability becomes a problem. But you do lose 1% durability every time you die. So when

you look at my character's weapon here, it says a 91 out of 100 durability, which is not enough to be problematic for me. Not worried about repairing it,

for me. Not worried about repairing it, but I could. So we click repair right here. It says if we do this, we're going

here. It says if we do this, we're going to spend 2,000 of this currency to restore 100 durability to your gear. And

it's also going to cost two copper. I

don't want to do this because I don't want to spend 2,000 of this currency to repair my gear. I'm not worried about it. I'm going to replace that sword long

it. I'm going to replace that sword long before that durability becomes a problem. So, that's one that I would

problem. So, that's one that I would largely ignore until you're deep into the endgame. You've spent a lot of

the endgame. You've spent a lot of currency enhancing and upgrading and refining a weapon. Then, you know you're going to be using it for a long time.

It's got the perfect stats on it. That's

when you want to start spending money and time repairing it. Okay. Next in

here is general power. So, the higher this is, the stronger your character. If

you have 9,000 power and someone else has 6,000, then you know, generally speaking, you're stronger than that other player and vice versa. Then, below

that, you've got details. This is where we were earlier when we wanted to see our exploration attributes that we get for completing all those little mini games, mini puzzles, and then the passives, the exploration skills as it

calls them, but they're passives that you get for having them. So, if we click on this one right here, animal whisperer allows us to understand speech of certain birds and beasts. And in order to have this, we needed 600 points

total. We needed 75 mindset, 50

total. We needed 75 mindset, 50 intelligence, which we have met those requirements. So, we can officially

requirements. So, we can officially understand the speech of certain birds and beasts. Then we've also got

and beasts. Then we've also got improvement guide. Sometimes the red

improvement guide. Sometimes the red dot's going to take you here. That's

probably why you'll be here most of the time. Claim. And that's going to give us

time. Claim. And that's going to give us 20 echo jade. And we'll talk about what that's for because you're going to be getting it all the time. And so you're probably wondering what the heck is this stuff for. Every one of these red dots

stuff for. Every one of these red dots in the menus is throwing echo jade at me. Why? Okay, we'll touch on that next.

me. Why? Okay, we'll touch on that next.

Actually, this section is nice for giving you purpose. Like you're not sure what you should do next, right? You're

not sure what you need for the build.

Like let's say the group content, you decide you want to be a tank. Okay.

Okay. Well, this is going to lead you to unlocking tank specific things, tank specific tasks. Come in here and it's

specific tasks. Come in here and it's telling you come get this damage reduction from the Stormbreaker Spear.

So, that's nice. Damage reduction tank.

Makes sense, right? Or if you know you're going to want to go DPS melee.

Then you come here and you start doing these tasks to unlock this. And it says inner collection 2. Comprehend the sword morph, mountains might, wildfire spark, and battle anthem. I've unlocked three

of the four so far. I'm missing one. So,

click on it. And it says we need wildfire spark tome. I have zero of them. How do we get this? We click on

them. How do we get this? We click on it. Obtained by following it legacy

it. Obtained by following it legacy clues. Okay, we click on that. It says

clues. Okay, we click on that. It says

the mountain dwellers of Deer Forge Grove heard that Emo's target once appeared there. Pay the location a visit

appeared there. Pay the location a visit and you might be able to catch the thief with her. Okay, explore. It says go

with her. Okay, explore. It says go here. And then basically you'll be able

here. And then basically you'll be able to get that and you'll be able to finish that little quest which is going to give you this which is going to give you a skill that it recommends for DPS melee combat. And then we work our way down

combat. And then we work our way down this, knocking these out, unlocking more DPS, melee, combat specific things. Like

I said, this is a guide for unlocking things that are relevant to the role you want to play in group content. It's a

nice little what should I do next section, especially if you ever need a break from running around the map, collecting the oddities, and doing the mini quests, the side quests, the encounters, and all of that sort of thing. And then for the final two items

thing. And then for the final two items in this section, we have build management and quick enhance. Quick

enhance. You can just press and it's going to upgrade whatever it can, which may not upgrade things in the order that you would want to. It's going to spend your upgrade materials until it can't anymore. So that's the quick enhance,

anymore. So that's the quick enhance, but you may want to do it yourself to do it more strategically than that. And

then there's build management. So here

is where you would have builds that you will save. So maybe you want to have a

will save. So maybe you want to have a DPS build and then maybe sometimes your guild or your group are going to need a tank and so then you'll save a tank build. So here we would go save new

build. So here we would go save new plan. Enter the plan name. I'm going to

plan. Enter the plan name. I'm going to say this is my solo build. Create. Boom.

Solo build. Now I could use plan. But

what if I wanted to make a new build for my tank? So I put on all my tank gear.

my tank? So I put on all my tank gear.

Then I come here to current build and I say save. Then I go new plan. Tank.

say save. Then I go new plan. Tank.

Brand new. Now I have a tank load out when I want to go tank for people in the group content, the raids, the dungeons, and I have my solo loadout whenever I just want to go around the world soloing and kicking butt. So that is everything in the develop menu. Just look how many

different things are tucked into this one menu. This game is so massive. I was

one menu. This game is so massive. I was

not expecting that when I jumped into this game for the first time, but it's part of why I think so many people are continuing to enjoy it the way that they are. All right, now let's talk about

are. All right, now let's talk about these currencies that you're collecting as you're playing the game. This is

going to make things feel so much more rewarding when you know what it is you're working towards every time you see it pop up on the screen. Because, as

you can see here by looking at my stock piles, I've got 8,000 echo jade. I've

got 48,000 jade fish. And if you don't know what these are going to be used for, you might really not think anything of it. It's just another number popping

of it. It's just another number popping up on the screen. Another thing you're confused about and another thing the game is constantly reminding you, hey, you don't know what this is. So, let's

fix that. Starting with one of the ones you're going to see pop up all the time.

That's your Echo Jade. Anytime you're

popping into these menus, they've got these red dots everywhere. So, we click on a red dot. We click on another red dot. Just like it's a mobile game, a

dot. Just like it's a mobile game, a claim all. And what does it give us?

claim all. And what does it give us?

Echo Jade. And you're going to do this all the time. You're going to be clicking red dots. Why this game doesn't have a collect all button right here? Oh

my god. the things I would do to the developer that added a claim all button right here. I would do anything. I swear

right here. I would do anything. I swear

I didn't have to dive into these menus and chase down red dots so often. I'm

just not a red dot enjoyer. So, back to the point of the echo jade. Okay, so

you're collecting echo jade from these red dots constantly. So, let's click on the echo jade. You can use this at various merchants throughout the game.

You can come here to this merchant. He's

going to sell you various tiered upgrade materials for your weapon. So, this is the tuning material for weapons if you want to use it to upgrade your weapon and things like that. Now, you can get this in a variety of different ways. You

can dismantle weapons, you can dismantle gear. One way to purchase these tuning

gear. One way to purchase these tuning materials is from this guy right here.

You can also pick up this inner way, right? So, if you buy his entire stock

right? So, if you buy his entire stock of this inner way right here, the morale chant, buy it all and then you'll be able to learn that inner way. And then

it's also got some like decorations for your house. And then alternatively, you

your house. And then alternatively, you can go to this other merchant right here with it and you can use this to buy more interways. So, let's go visit him real

interways. So, let's go visit him real quick. Talk to him, see what he's

quick. Talk to him, see what he's selling. And when we come to this guy,

selling. And when we come to this guy, we'll notice we own one. He has 10. So,

we could hope that we eventually get this. Or we could buy all 10. Morale

this. Or we could buy all 10. Morale

chance. I already have. What about

seasonal edge? What if I want to buy that? Or battle anthem or restoring

that? Or battle anthem or restoring note? I could spend some of my 8,000 on

note? I could spend some of my 8,000 on it. Now, it's 100 per. So, if we were to

it. Now, it's 100 per. So, if we were to buy 10 of these to learn it, it would take 1,000 out of our eight. So, this

currency is one you're going to want to spend a little more carefully. And so,

as you can see, with this currency, you're going to eat through it really fast if you're just buying everything that you need. And so, you're going to want to be strategic about when and how you spend this currency. But, it's

predominantly being used to acquire more of your inner, these guys right here, so that you can unlock them and upgrade them. Now, the next currency that we

them. Now, the next currency that we should touch on here is four-fold coins.

So, if you go to a bounty board like this one, right, and you pick up some bounties to do, you get a currency called four-fold coin. If you go to that bounty board, like I just showed on the map there, then you'll be able to pick up bounties and usage method. You'll go

to the bounty shop and you can buy dyes for changing the cosmetic appearance of your character. You'll be able to buy

your character. You'll be able to buy hairstyles, outfits, hats, and armor.

Those are some of the things that you can buy with those points. So, it's

basically cosmetics. The treasure token is why you want to join a guild right away when you get into this game.

Especially an active guild if you can.

If you're actively playing this game, you should aim to get into an active higher level guild. If you can help it, join a guild that's level two or level three, especially if you're higher level. And what that's going to do is

level. And what that's going to do is it's going to give you access to these treasure tokens. How do you obtain it

treasure tokens. How do you obtain it from guild events? So, I'm in a guild right now. So, if I click on the guild

right now. So, if I click on the guild tab down here, we've got more red dots, right? So, we click onto the item and

right? So, we click onto the item and it's going to give me treasure tokens and the Mirage sachet. But the treasure tokens are the thing we're focusing on right now. And then if I click on this

right now. And then if I click on this event right here, we click on this and it's going to give me more treasure tokens than wonder jade coins and XP. So

your guild is going to be spitting out this currency like crazy once you're in it and signing in on a regular basis. So

what can you use it for? You can use it in the red gold boutique. The red gold boutique is the guild store. So in your guild hideout, which you can get to by clicking guild and then it says return

to base. Now if we click this says, are

to base. Now if we click this says, are you sure you want to return to the guild garrison? Sure. Yeah, we say go ahead.

garrison? Sure. Yeah, we say go ahead.

Now, we've landed inside the guild. So,

if we run forward and to the left right here is the red gold boutique. So, we

talk to this person, interact with them, and here are the things that you can buy with that currency. Everything from

maong chips to hairstyles to more dyes to fireworks, which you can probably use in a quest somewhere in the city.

Fragrance s a kinds of little things, decorations, inscriptions, and even emotes. Okay, so all kinds of cosmetic stuff from this merchant. Now,

if you don't want to go through the hassle of teleporting all the way into your guild and running to this trader, alternatively, what you can do is you can just go to shop, click on offers.

Offers is where you're going to spend all the random currencies that you earn in this game, right? And then click on exchange shop. This is where they're

exchange shop. This is where they're tucked at. So, offers, exchange. Boom.

tucked at. So, offers, exchange. Boom.

Now, we have all those currencies that we're collecting in this game. There's

the guild ones and the red gold boutique. So, you can shop from this

boutique. So, you can shop from this shop without actually going to your guild trader. It'll save you some time.

guild trader. It'll save you some time.

Once you're in your guild, that's one place you can go. Another place you can go in your guild is you can go to this guy right here. My guy is rather rambunctious here. Oh my goodness. Talk

rambunctious here. Oh my goodness. Talk

to this guy, the guild transporter. And

this is a place where you can come and you can donate to the guild's cause. And

you get a nice little reward for doing so. I get wonder jade and treasure

so. I get wonder jade and treasure token. So, we submit. Boom. We submitted

token. So, we submit. Boom. We submitted

our two for the day. It gave us some jadeish. Again, always getting jadeish

jadeish. Again, always getting jadeish as well as the other items that it told us it was going to give us. And you can come here and you can contribute to the guild progress that way while getting rewarded for doing so. So, I would say those are the two predominant features

here inside of the guild base. And when

you want to leave, just head back out to where you spawned, right? You spawned

looking at this. And there's a guy right here. Talk to the coachman. Tell him I

here. Talk to the coachman. Tell him I want to leave. And he's going to go ahead and send you back to the main game. Now, when you do that, just be

game. Now, when you do that, just be aware of the fact that it has now dropped you into online mode, which some of the things you want to do may not be available in, and you're going to be seeing people all over the place, so you

might be more comfortable in solo. You

can go ahead and switch back to solo if you want. Enter. There we go. Now, I'm

you want. Enter. There we go. Now, I'm

back in my solo game. So, it's playing like a single player RPG again. So

that's what the treasure tokens are for and that's how you get them. Basically

collecting your rewards by going into the guild menu. It's the red dots. All

the red dots into the guild menu, you get treasure tokens. We already went over echo jades. Jadefish we sort of touched on. How do you obtain these?

touched on. How do you obtain these?

Engagement hub. I mean basically everything you do in this game is giving you these fish. That's why I have almost 50,000 of them. And then how do you use them? You can use them in the shop to

them? You can use them in the shop to buy chests to gamble for items that you need. Sometimes you can select one

need. Sometimes you can select one martial art which means you don't have to gamble for it. Sometimes it says contains a random innerway note which means you are gambling for it, right?

You don't get to pick which one you get.

So you're going to be buying a lot of these to get the thing that you need, especially to get 10 of them when you need 10 of them. But you can also buy gear chests, which I wouldn't advise because you get so much gear in this game. It's them dumping on you

game. It's them dumping on you constantly. You can go in your

constantly. You can go in your profession development section in there and buy the healer chest if you want to upgrade your healer cards so that the card game is easier. or you could buy career notebooks if you want to simply

upgrade the level of your healer. You're

going to be earning these in game by healing people and other various activities as well. So, this isn't the only way to collect these things, but it is one way to speed up their progression. And then you can also come

progression. And then you can also come in here and buy some cosmetic items like a garment design shard. The next

currency we have right here is going to be our battle pass reward. So, as you're playing this game, as you're leveling up, you're going to constantly be sent into the battle pass to collect your reward. So, right now I've got a red dot

reward. So, right now I've got a red dot there. We come in here, we claim it, and

there. We come in here, we claim it, and we're going to constantly be doing that.

But here, we can see as we progress through the game, we're collecting this currency from here every time we go. And

this is with the free pass. The bottom

pass here, which I haven't collected any, is the paid pass. I might actually purchase that because I am having a great time in this game. But I kind of wanted to feel how the progress in this game felt as a free-to-play player

because that's always an important viewpoint to have. Like is there a point at which you feel like you have to pay to continue? And so far I can definitely

to continue? And so far I can definitely say that playing this game for free has not been a problem for me at all. It

seems very fair. So that's how you get that currency. But what is it for? Click

that currency. But what is it for? Click

on the battle pass shop. And in here you can see that you can buy decorations, accessories. You know, if you want to

accessories. You know, if you want to look like you have a giant backpack on, cool. If you want to pose, there you go.

cool. If you want to pose, there you go.

Mostly cosmetic stuff in here. But then

there is also this martial arts breakthrough casket here. So, if you're looking for martial arts upgrade materials, this may be the place for you to come if you've developed a lot of battle pass tokens. Next, we have the commerce coin. You're going to be

commerce coin. You're going to be getting this a lot from the main story quests from the path to riches, which is this place right here, the trade commission, as well as the seasonal shop

if you would like to purchase it this way. But most importantly, what is this

way. But most importantly, what is this currency for? Because we have the

currency for? Because we have the commerce coin, but then we have the regular coin. What is the difference

regular coin. What is the difference between the two? The regular coin is going to be like this universal coin that you use all over the game. Whereas

the commerce coin is going to be used at taverns and street vendors in King and Kiang for purchasing local foods and customs. Okay. So if we come to the

customs. Okay. So if we come to the trade hall in Kiang and we can look here what we can buy with this currency. We

can buy cosmetics, poses, decorations, all sorts of stuff like that. You'll

also use these coins when wagering if you're like gambling on a match or something like that. And I think the reason that they do that is because you have a far more finite supply of this coin compared to the regular coin. And

so it's a lot more meaningful when you gamble 50 and win with this coin right here as opposed to, you know, the one you have hundreds of thousands of. All

right, now let's dive into the deceptively named appearance menu. This

menu is more than appearance, right? So

yes, it has some appearance stuff. Your

wardrobe as well as the scenario where you can have different outfits for different occasions. It's got your

different occasions. It's got your weapons and stuff like that if you purchase and apply various cosmetics to your weapons. But then the place where

your weapons. But then the place where it's not really cosmetic at all is your mount section. Now, there are cosmetics

mount section. Now, there are cosmetics for mounts, but then there's also the mounts that you're collecting while you're playing the game. And these

definitely have stats. So, if we look at this mount right here that I collected is rated 54. It's got lightness, vitality, surging vitality, high speed, water affinity, right? Loads of buffs

attached to this mount with a rating of 54. This one only one buff a rating of

54. This one only one buff a rating of 16. So mounts are not cosmetic in this

16. So mounts are not cosmetic in this game. Mounts absolutely do have stats.

game. Mounts absolutely do have stats.

Some mounts are absolutely better than others. And it is worth hunting for a

others. And it is worth hunting for a decent mount if you're someone that finds yourself riding your mounts a lot.

Now this has been a kind of a weird game for me. The mobility abilities that my

for me. The mobility abilities that my character gets running around the world are so good. like running this fast, jumping this far, I don't ever really feel like I need to be on a mount, let

alone when I jump into the sky and then use my lightness abilities to travel across the world. So, I haven't really found it necessary to use my mount at all. So, mounts are kind of in an

all. So, mounts are kind of in an awkward place in this game for me at least. I could spend time collecting a

least. I could spend time collecting a really good mount, but then I never use it. So, I really haven't spent a whole

it. So, I really haven't spent a whole lot of time focusing on finding the best mount possible because I very quickly got to a point where my mobility was better without it. Now, every time you steal a mount from somebody else, like

you see a guy walking on the side of the road, like if we teleport there. This

place on the map has a bunch of horses all the time. See, we just teleport in right here. And you can see there are

right here. And you can see there are mounts around. Now, where these are

mounts around. Now, where these are useful is if you're brand new to the game, you don't have all your mobility unlocked in both zones. And so, riding a mount is still going to be faster in that case. So, they do have a period of

that case. So, they do have a period of usefulness attached to them. What we're

going to do is we're going to sneak up behind this one right here. We're going

to jump on it and then a mini game is going to start where you have to basically push the buttons as they go and you're trying to fill up that circle in the middle. And sometimes it asks you to do almost impossible things. Like

it'll ask you to press W and S at the same time, which is just kind of mean, but for the most part, it's doable. So,

we've successfully got a four-star horse here, and it's telling us the mountain rating is 22. It's got sprint, it's got energy, and it's got lightness. Okay, so

it's got a few different buffs attached to it, but it's definitely not better than what we already have. So, what do we do with mounts that are objectively worse than what we've already got? Now,

that mount's going to go disappear.

We've already claimed it just by getting on it. By the way, if you see someone

on it. By the way, if you see someone riding by on a horse, you just run up to them, press F or whatever your interact button is, and that'll pull them off the horse, then press it again to get on the horse and take it from them. And now

that horse is yours. As simple as that.

But now, let's go here to this guy, the horse merchant. Okay, let me

horse merchant. Okay, let me [clears throat] zoom out so you know where that is. It's in the northeastern part of King. Okay. So, we'll talk to this guy and we can say horse for sale.

Now, what I can do is I can tell him, hey, I've got a bunch of horses that I'm just going to turn into dog food unless you want them. Sell this one. Sell this

one. Mount is being ridden. Yeah, go

ahead and sell that one. What is this one here? One's a rating of 22, 18, 14.

one here? One's a rating of 22, 18, 14.

So, these five right here are just not great mounts. So, I can sell them for

great mounts. So, I can sell them for 184 of that fairly rare currency. This

is your commerce coins. And we can go ahead and sell up to five per week. If I

try to do another one, says weekly limit reached. So, we'll go ahead and sell.

reached. So, we'll go ahead and sell.

Confirm. There we go. And that's just one way to kind of do something with those extra mounts that you're not super in love with. Maybe they're not attractive. Maybe they're not very fast.

attractive. Maybe they're not very fast.

You can get rid of them by coming here and selling them to this guy right there. Now, other activities that you're

there. Now, other activities that you're going to see on the map are these forts, these combat campaigns, which are basically dungeons. And these are

basically dungeons. And these are repeatable events. So, the first time

repeatable events. So, the first time you do these, you'll have these first clear rewards, which are very useful.

It's going to give you constitution, for example. That's one of your aspiration

example. That's one of your aspiration attributes, as it calls them. That's

going to unlock those permanent passives. And you've got medicinal

passives. And you've got medicinal tales, which is going to allow you to upgrade how many potions you're carrying at a time. So, really useful stuff. Then

you've got some other currencies here, like upgrade materials, more echo jade, and exploration XP. So, these forts are really simple. You just go to them, you

really simple. You just go to them, you kill the guys within. There will usually be somewhere between 12 and 16 enemies in there. Kill all of them, boss will

in there. Kill all of them, boss will spawn, and he's not really a boss in the same sense that these combat campaigns are bosses. Like, these are actual Dark

are bosses. Like, these are actual Dark Souls like boss fights. Very cinematic,

very flashy inside of a boss room.

They're not what I would call especially difficult, especially if you're not on one of the difficult difficulties. So,

don't be intimidated to try them, but they are much more difficult than the outpost difficulty. This is just

outpost difficulty. This is just basically a slightly larger mob than the ones you killed before it. So these ones are really easy. You can run in, clear it out in a few minutes and you're done.

Whereas these ones, because it's a fulllength dungeon leading up to the boss fight and then the boss fight, you're looking at more like depending on how fast you are running through it, it could be 10, 15, 20 minutes. It could

even be up to an hour if it's your first clear and you're really hunting for all the chests and things like that. So you

definitely want to jump into these when you have the time. And the forts you can do anytime. The thing to know about all

do anytime. The thing to know about all these red items on the map is they're repeatable. So you can do it again. And

repeatable. So you can do it again. And

after you do it, there will be a timer.

When you click on it, it'll say available again in x amount of hours.

When you're doing it the second time, like if we look at this one right here, all of the first kill rewards are not there, but all of the repeat rewards are. So I can come here and I can try to

are. So I can come here and I can try to get cosmetics like face masks. I can get cosmetics for my weapons, random interway notes, right? Really useful

items from this outpost right here, this fort. So they're very much worth doing.

fort. So they're very much worth doing.

And they do have a cool down. So it

might be something you want to knock out a few of them every day. So do these first because they do have cool down.

All right. So now you understand the bag, the develop menu, right? You know

all of the stuff in here. And if you don't, you can come back and watch that anytime you want. The appearance menu, which is mostly cosmetic except for the mounts. We've got the profession menu,

mounts. We've got the profession menu, which we went over. This is just where you come to upgrade healer. If you want to upgrade level of your healer to make yourself a better healer, make those healer mini games even easier, you can

do that. Or you can alternately come

do that. Or you can alternately come here for scholar. Spend the same material to upgrade these career notebooks. Spend those to upgrade your

notebooks. Spend those to upgrade your scholar so that the gift of gab challenges and things of the like are easier for you to do. Now let's go into the next row here. Okay. So we've got the shop which we've actually spent a

bit of time in so far. And the shop in this game is of course the cash shop, but they've also tucked deep into this your non-cash shop items, your in-game shops. So you've got featured here. This

shops. So you've got featured here. This

is just featured cosmetics. You've got

appearance cosmetics. you can buy.

Again, you've got the monthly pass. This

game does have a optional subscription and it tells you what it's going to give you right here. You're going to get daily login. You're going to get these

daily login. You're going to get these echo jades. For daily, you'll get 100

echo jades. For daily, you'll get 100 plus 50 of these. And then your 20-day login rewards are going to be these lingering melodies. So, these are this

lingering melodies. So, these are this game's gotcha mechanic where you use them to try to pull or draw or gamble for limited edition appearances. It says

right here. So, if we go to featured, go to this musical grace. Go here. You can

see you can get items for lingering melodies right here. So, right now, I've got quite a bit of time in the game and I've acred something like 17. I think I used one of them here earlier. So, let's

go ahead and draw 10 of these and see if we get anything good. And it looks like we did not. Now, of course, you can spend real money to gamble on this and

probably not have much better luck to be honest with you. So, gamble responsibly.

Then we have the item menu. This is

where you can come in and spend real money or other currencies again to buy some of these items in the game. Then we

have the offers menu. This is the one where we actually spent quite a bit of time in today already. This is where a lot of the in-game currencies can be spent under offers and exchange shop.

Here's where you can spend these currencies that you're constantly getting while you're playing the game.

But there's also the discount shop.

Again, this is like cash up stuff. And

then the portable merchant. So if you wanted, you could buy a portable merchant to bring around with you in this game. Unlock the elite battle pass

this game. Unlock the elite battle pass or premium battle pass to access a portable merchant. unlock now. So, as

portable merchant. unlock now. So, as

you can see, that is a paid purchase.

However, I haven't felt the need to have that yet. So, it's something I can

that yet. So, it's something I can confidently say that you don't need to enjoy the game. Then, we've got the top-up menu. Again, you know, more cash

top-up menu. Again, you know, more cash up stuff. All right. Next item, we've

up stuff. All right. Next item, we've got events. So, in here, this is where

got events. So, in here, this is where like ongoing events will be. You come in here, you can participate in them or be rewarded for participating in them.

You're going to be collecting all these kinds of things as you're progressing through it. So, there's lots of

through it. So, there's lots of different ones here that you can choose to participate in. All you have to do is go woven in and malice for example, go to quest. This quest is not yet

to quest. This quest is not yet unlocked. Okay, what about this one? Go.

unlocked. Okay, what about this one? Go.

And it tells you where you would want to go to participate in that event. So

that's what the events are for. Then

you've got the draw right here. You want

to gamble? Here you go. Draw. This is

where that places where you can spend the lingering melodies that you can collect for free. So there's a chance to get these items for free. Or, you know, maybe you're just going to get a healing potion with that free attempt.

>> [laughter] >> And then there's a battle pass, which we touched on a little bit earlier. There's

the top line of this, which you have access to for free. And then there's the bottom line, which you have to pay real money for. Unlock that paid version. It

money for. Unlock that paid version. It

is going to be $20. All right. So, now

you know everything about the first and the second row. Now, for the third row.

All right. Journal. This is mostly where you're going to come to collect these red dots. Right click. Right click. Then

red dots. Right click. Right click. Then

you're chasing the red dot again.

Chasing the red dot again. Wait, where'd

it go? There it is. Click. Oh, here's a red dot. Click. Oh, what do we get? Echo

red dot. Click. Oh, what do we get? Echo

Jade. I think the developers think that chasing those red dots is way more fun than it actually is. They are obsessed with that feature. Holy. That's probably

why you'll be in here most of the time.

Alternatively, this section is really useful right here in the middle, the zone XP level. So, king, we're level five renowned, almost level six, almost maxed out. And when we get that, we do

maxed out. And when we get that, we do get some useful things. We get the wind rider skill, which makes us even better at traveling around the world by flying essentially. And some other nice

essentially. And some other nice rewards. We get two more lingering

rewards. We get two more lingering melody that we can gamble with if we want to. We get a badge. So that right

want to. We get a badge. So that right there is tracking your zone level and you can change it right here by clicking on this arrow and it'll tell you the zone level in the other zone. Right now

there's only two zones but you know I'm sure more are coming. So that's all of that. This is the exploration tab. Then

that. This is the exploration tab. Then

we have world. So come here and you've got your progress in various places in the world. Right now I'm 62% done with

the world. Right now I'm 62% done with the hanging blade. I'm 100% done with bandit monks, but I'm only 87% done with Northern Vow. And that's how those

Northern Vow. And that's how those factions are going. And then we've got characters. This is my progress with all

characters. This is my progress with all these characters in the game. And then

research. Here it says you can select any two characters to create a relationship web. So what if we go with

relationship web. So what if we go with me and we pick one of these cuties up here. Let's go with this girl right

here. Let's go with this girl right there. And select relationship type.

there. And select relationship type.

Friendly, neutral, hostile, new. Go with

friendly. And you can kind of track your relationships with these people if that's what you want to do. Let's see.

Alternatively, you can go to trending research and you can see what other people have decided to do. And frankly,

this isn't a menu that I think you're going to need to interact with like at all for a long time. So, that's

everything inside of the journal menu.

Like I said, the main reason you're going in there is chasing those red dots just to clear them because they keep popping up and they give you those echo chades. After journal, we've got quests,

chades. After journal, we've got quests, which we touched on earlier. This is

where you go to see all of the different quests in game. You can just click on in progress to see all of them. Just want

to look at the whole list of all of them at once. Or if you want to separate it

at once. Or if you want to separate it by main story, lost chapter, encounter, and exploration, you can click right here or you can click right here. Lots

of different ways of achieving the same exacting, which kind of makes these menus feel even more daunting. And then

you've got your compendium. Again,

chasing red dots. That's really all this is for. You come here, claim. Cool. We

is for. You come here, claim. Cool. We

got some echo jade local charms. Click with the red dot. Claim. Yep. Yep. Yep.

Cool. Cool. Cool. Again, I would kill for a claim all button down here because the most boring part of this entire game is hunting down these red dots. And I

feel like I spend way too much time doing that relative to everything else cuz everything else is actually a ton of fun chasing down these red dots. Eh, not

so much. And then we've got wandering paths. This is the activities that are

paths. This is the activities that are going on right now. So, you can come in here and you can do a weekly hero realms, weekly echo rewards, right?

Fight PvE foes for the spoils of victory. So you click on that and you

victory. So you click on that and you can see right here what you're going to get for killing each of these guys. And

you can do this every week. Right now

they've got the heart seeker, yay, wan, the void king, lucky 17, from one lucky to another. This person is not looking

to another. This person is not looking great. And then there's Kin and Zang Yi.

great. And then there's Kin and Zang Yi.

And I'm so sorry if I butchered the pronunciation of any or all of those.

And then in this menu, you've got your outpost challenges. So if you want to go

outpost challenges. So if you want to go to an outpost, boom. This takes you to the outpost and you can do them this way. Or you can just manually run over

way. Or you can just manually run over and complete them that way. You don't

have to get to these things through this menu. This menu is just here, I guess,

menu. This menu is just here, I guess, to give you another way to look at all of your options in one place and easily see what you have and haven't done without looking at the map. Then we've

got the Heroes Realm, which is a group activity, which recommends at the very least having a healer, if not a tank, and multiple DPS. And it gives you a recommended mastery score here of 9,500.

So, this is basically the endgame currently in the game. And then you've got your sword trials. Again, this one recommends 10,400. This is another

recommends 10,400. This is another endgame activity. Two to four players.

endgame activity. Two to four players.

This is a 10-player activity or you could switch it over to a smart assist and you can do it as one to nine players. Now, what you'll notice is when

players. Now, what you'll notice is when you switch it from 10 player activity to a one to nine player activity is there are fewer rewards here. So, one to nine players gets the interway nodes, the

tier 51 gear chest, the atunement stones, coin and XP. But then if we switch it over to group, it also gives you adventure slips. So, the group

version is also giving you a rare or epic piece of gear, whereas the solo version gives you rare or epic, but it has lower odds for epic. So, the game is encouraging you to do this group content as a group. But, if you want to do it

solo, maybe you're a little bit of an introvert like myself, or you don't you just don't want to deal with other people, or maybe you want to learn it a little bit before you go in there with a group and embarrass yourself. Hey, I

totally get it. So, you can switch it over to Smart Assist and solo this bad boy all by yourself without any of that stress. Then, finally, we've got the

stress. Then, finally, we've got the Sword Trial. This is a two to five

Sword Trial. This is a two to five player activity with no option to solo it. Down here we can see the rewards.

it. Down here we can see the rewards.

It's going to give you adventure slips, some gear, some cosmetics, more cosmetics, some interway notes, some upgrade materials, some tuning materials, more upgrade materials, and

some coin and XP. So quite a few rewards for completing this. So that covers this section of your wandering paths menu.

Then you've got casual co-op content that you can dive into. Maybe you and a friend want to just run around and complete things together. Well, here you go. You can dive in here. This is casual

go. You can dive in here. This is casual co-op. It's going to be co-op activities

co-op. It's going to be co-op activities that you can do with somebody else throughout the game. And you can see what the rewards are going to be here.

It's going to be adventure slips predominantly. So, there's something you

predominantly. So, there's something you could do in the game as well. Then we've

got the arena for you PvPers out there.

You want to get into PvP, here you go.

There's a 1v one arena. It's in

progress, ending in 2 hours and 55 minutes. Your rank is set after your

minutes. Your rank is set after your first match. It looks like you're going

first match. It looks like you're going to get a little reward chest there. And

it looks like you can use a bonus talisman to grant 30 extra points next time your arena rank points go up in a victory. So you can kind of use this to

victory. So you can kind of use this to advance up the ranks faster. If you're

not into 1 v one and you want something with more people in it, then you can go into perception forest and you can either solo queue, duo que, or flex Q.

Up to you if you want to go by yourself, with a friend, either or. Then we've got the taiping mausoleum. This is something that you're going to get to most of the time. The game's going to have you do

time. The game's going to have you do these as you are doing your breakthroughs. It's going to send you in

breakthroughs. It's going to send you in here to complete another section right now. As you can see, advanced mausoleium

now. As you can see, advanced mausoleium cultivation requires reaching level seven in solo mode. So, I can't do the next one until the current cap is removed or expanded so that I can come in here. But basically, you go in here,

in here. But basically, you go in here, waves of enemies spawn, you kill them, and you get one diamond if your HP is over zero when you finish, or two if it's over 20, and three if it's over 30.

And you can see here some of them have different things though. Like this one is time based. So you get the three star if there's over 3 minutes left when you finish it. So I only got two. Looks like

finish it. So I only got two. Looks like

I'll have to go back and fix that. But

that meant I finished it with only 2 minutes or more or less. And then we have the divine challenge. We'll hop

into one right now. We're going to choose one of our buffs. Increase all

attributes by 15%. Reduce cool down of skills by 20%. Sure. By these guys.

And we beat that with remaining time greater than four, which gave us 125 jadefish. So if you're looking for

jadefish. So if you're looking for another source of jadefish, there you go. That's kind of what those rounds

go. That's kind of what those rounds look like. Slightly different terms

look like. Slightly different terms between the divine and the non- divine, but same exact concept with enemy spawning and then, you know, your final wave and buffs throughout. Now, one of the things you might have noticed is all

of these activities are going to cost 20 of this currency right here, and that is energy. As it says right here, auto

energy. As it says right here, auto recharges one point every 9 minutes.

I've got 500 out of 500 because I haven't been doing these activities today. So, when you do these activities,

today. So, when you do these activities, you're going to use 20 per. And when you complete an activity, you'll have the chance to claim like three times the rewards for three times the cost. So,

you can get the rewards of three attempts, the cost of three attempts, but in the time it took you to do one attempt, which is really nice. So, when

you're looking at the map, make sure you pay attention to your energy up here.

And whenever you want to go ahead and spend it. And if you're really worried

spend it. And if you're really worried about minmaxing, you'll want to make sure you're not at 500 out of 500. Just

click on that currency and then choose the activity that you want to do. And

you'll be able to burn through 20, 40, or 60 of it at a time. So, let's say I come down here to this one. I haven't

done it yet. So, we'll teleport there.

We'll head on in. Here's one of those purple bells. Okay. You can come in here

purple bells. Okay. You can come in here and fight your way through, or you can do like a little healing quest. We're

just going to kill everyone today. And

you can see in the top left there, it says we're two out of nine. So, we got to kill all nine NPCs. Okay, so we killed the last one. The boss is here now. Go ahead and use this on ice.

now. Go ahead and use this on ice.

[laughter] Oh, he's mad. Oh, that's too bad. And

there's our reward. Got a lot of first time rewards as well as the usual. Come

here to the chest. And this is where we can choose how much energy to consume.

So, we can get credit for running this three times. It's going to cost 60

three times. It's going to cost 60 energy, but we only had to run it once, which is fantastic. Now, the thing is doing this port three times is going to take level seven understanding for solo

mode. So, we can't do that yet, but we

mode. So, we can't do that yet, but we can double claim for this port. So,

claim that. And now I get credit for running it twice and the time it took me to run it once, which hey, I'm a big fan of that. We got some gear upgrades,

of that. We got some gear upgrades, which means we can upgrade this item.

Cool. Then we've got season. So, here is seasonal activities. You've got the

seasonal activities. You've got the warriors journey. You'll be able to come

warriors journey. You'll be able to come in here again. mostly coming in here for the red dots so that you can clear them.

Right, you're collecting those echo jades. They love their red dots. Okay,

jades. They love their red dots. Okay,

so we're going to collect those. We're

going to collect these red dots. Oh,

man. We're collecting red dots. Oh,

there's another red dot. We're

collecting that, too. Nice. Okay, cool.

So, that's the primary reason you come into there and almost the exclusive reason you come in there. However, if

there is a reward in here that you want more of, let's say you want this currency, the adventure slip, you can click on this and it's going to take you to the area where you would go to complete that activity, like, oh, you want to do this. Okay, you want to do

her? Okay, and it shows you she's right

her? Okay, and it shows you she's right here. That's where you would go. So,

here. That's where you would go. So,

that's the alternative reason for this menu existing besides the red dots is you can use it to actually click on the objectives to find out where they are and try to track their location down so you can do them. On the right side here, we have the seasonal shop. This is

something we've spent a little bit of time in today. Okay, we got here through the shop menu earlier and this is where you could buy combat development kits, interway notes if you want to gamble for those. You could buy profession boxes to

those. You could buy profession boxes to level up the cards in that card game.

You could buy the career notebooks to advance your professions. And then

finally, obtain jade. It wants you to get to 20,000 jade, upgrade your realm, and so while you're upgrading your realm, you're getting these bounty tokens. You can see these allow you to

tokens. You can see these allow you to post bounties, each of these tokens. And

if we click on this here, this is where we can see our progress inside of here and the rewards that we're going to get for progressing through this season.

Right now, I have 15,000 out of 15,000.

We've reached the weekly activity point limit. So, your progress is capped

limit. So, your progress is capped weekly. And this is season 1 of the game

weekly. And this is season 1 of the game as you can see there. All right. Next,

let's go over the sects. So, if we click on sect and we go to sect overview, you can see the sects that are in the game right now. As you can see, I'm currently

right now. As you can see, I'm currently in the Well of Heaven. However, you can join and leave sets as many times as you want. However, if I join Well of Heaven

want. However, if I join Well of Heaven and then I join Silver Needle to leave Well of Heaven, I just have to betray my master right here on the screen and I do that. I go I join Silver Needle, that's

that. I go I join Silver Needle, that's fine. But if I leave Silver Needle and I

fine. But if I leave Silver Needle and I join Well of Heaven again and leave, now I'm going to be locked out for a week.

So, just be careful not to lock yourself out of your preferred sect for a week by joining and leaving too many times. It

is only a week though. So, you know, if you really want to change it up for whatever reason, you can. Now, the

reason for joining and leaving the se would be for the RP, right? There's

rules that you live by. And if you live by those rules, then your reputation of that psychic grows. If you don't, then you might lose some rep. And then here under ultimates, you can see what you gain. You gain thunder cryblade from

gain. You gain thunder cryblade from this one. Fantastic skill. And then for

this one. Fantastic skill. And then for status, here we can see what we will unlock as we're going through it. You

get a set title, give generously, you get upgrade reward to the next level, dice of life, which is an accessory. We

get advanced fellowship token. So, right

now, you can see I'm an average brother, but if we keep progressing, there's different things that we can get in here until we finally unlock the good stuff right here, which is probably going to be the cosmetics will probably be the

most interesting things that you can unlock by being in the sect or any sect for that matter outside of the ultimate that you're going to unlock. And each

one's different. So you get that for the silver needle. This would definitely be

silver needle. This would definitely be like the healer sect. It's got the panachia fan and the inkwell fan martial arts in here. Then the midnight blades has the infernal twin blades upgrade and

the nine mortal ways which is the easiest one to join because they will literally trick you into joining. You

get the mortal rope dart and the other ones don't have status yet. So I'm

guessing that for the time being we can't join them but we eventually will be able to. So those are your sects.

You've got your rules status. some lore.

And then you've got your sex shop here where you can use some of this currency, your reputation to buy things like hairstyles, outfits, and the like. And

then in this menu, there is more. I

know. I can't believe it either. Right

here, you have guide. This is where you can try to teach yourself some things in this game. Like if you see a word and

this game. Like if you see a word and you really have no idea what it means, what it's for, you can search for it here. And oftent times there will be a

here. And oftent times there will be a little tool tip that comes up explaining that to you. That's the guide. Then you

have letter. This is just like a place you come occasionally to collect red dots. Then next we have time. Now the

dots. Then next we have time. Now the

time is not just telling you the time where you're at. It's allowing you to change the time of day in your game. So

when you're playing single player and you're doing a quest, sometimes you have to be there at a certain time of day.

There's actually quite a few quests with this in them. So if you're standing at the objective and it's not working, look at the hints. Look at the signs that people are leaving on the ground telling you how to complete that puzzle, right?

Other players will leave a sign saying, "Hey, change the time of day to C." So

you'll change it to C. Click confirm

change. Then the game will change it to that time. And now when you're there,

that time. And now when you're there, boom, the flower that you're trying to harvest will appear. You can grab it or whatever it is that you're trying to do for that specific quest. So the time thing is actually something you will use

quite a few times while questing throughout the game. Photo mode. Okay,

it's pretty self-explanatory. Emotes.

Yes, you can come in here and you can go through a wide variety of emotes and you will use these for some quests. Just a

heads up. So if you get to a quest and it's asking you to emote, that's where it's at right there. questionnaire. If

you want to fill out a survey for some extra rewards, go for it. And then we've got settings and feedback. As for the settings, there's different camera modes that you can use. ARPG versus MMO. ARPG

just felt a lot more natural for this game. MMO, you have to hold down your

game. MMO, you have to hold down your mouse button to turn the camera. Kind of

like if you're playing World of Warcraft, whereas in ARPG mode, it treats it more like an action game. If

you move your mouse, the camera moves.

Button layout, that's really going to be personal preference. Scale display mode,

personal preference. Scale display mode, personal preference. Button settings,

personal preference. Button settings, same thing. Combat difficulty, you can

same thing. Combat difficulty, you can change the combat difficulty to expert, recommended, or story. And don't worry, you're not locked into whatever you pick. You can change it to recommended

pick. You can change it to recommended or story at any time you want. And if

you want to do legend or hardcore, you've got to do that from the start. As

you can see, I cannot change it to that.

Now, when you're in combat, you can lock on to your enemy. So, on PC, it's middle mouse button. If you're on console, then

mouse button. If you're on console, then just go into the controls and see what the lock on function is. It's going to allow your character to stay locked onto the enemy, which is very handy, especially in some of the more active fights, and it'll keep you locked onto

them when you're doing moves like this one here. The easiest way to stagger

one here. The easiest way to stagger enemies is to deflect. Use your deflect ability often, especially if it's [clears throat] a hard enemy. It's a

hard boss, you're struggling, just deflect the crap out of them. Keep on

deflecting. Keep on spamming that deflect button until they stagger themselves and then you'll be able to unload on them, do some big damage, finish it off and then before the timer runs out, hit them with the finisher and you should be able to defeat just about

everything in the game that way. When

you're looking at the map, just be aware of the fact that some activities in this game are multiplayer only, some are solo only. So, if we're on solo, you can see

only. So, if we're on solo, you can see these things on the map right now. If we

change it to multiplayer, look how much it changes. Activities disappeared, new

it changes. Activities disappeared, new ones popped up. The painted boat construction multiplayer event showed up. So, all kinds of new activities

up. So, all kinds of new activities popped up. Formless Calamity is here

popped up. Formless Calamity is here now. Whereas, if we change this to solo,

now. Whereas, if we change this to solo, Formless Calamity is gone. Gleaming

Abyss is here. So, different activities when it's on solo and multiplayer. So,

that kind of leads you into wanting to do both. However, you definitely don't

do both. However, you definitely don't have to do any multiplayer if you don't want to. A couple other things worth

want to. A couple other things worth noting on this map while we have it open is there's different floors. So, you can change to floor one or ground. So, some

areas are going to have places underground or above ground. And so, you might need to switch between the two, like right here. Now, we can see this place. And then also, you've got these

place. And then also, you've got these things over here. So, if you have a quest to turn in, often times it'll be one of these right here. You just click it and it tells you, "Hey, go here, talk to this NPC." Or it's just here

reminding you that you found an NPC worthwhile that you can return to, buy things from really valuable things like this lingering melody, for example. We

can exchange items for rewards. And same

thing with this cat over here. The nice

thing about these cats when you find them, these two cat merchants is they are surrounded by six other cats. So

that is six elegance points because you pet each one, get one elegance per pet.

And there you go. The other thing that'll show up here is your kiang melodies of peace, for example. Take

advantage of these over here on the right side of the screen. You have

filters that you can turn on. So, if

you're looking for a specific thing, like, you know, you need giant bears for materials, boom, it'll say, "Hey, go here and you can kill a giant bear." Or

if you need a grey wolf, you can check that box. There's a grey wolf right

that box. There's a grey wolf right there. And it's telling you, "Hey,

there. And it's telling you, "Hey, there's more down here and more over here." Right? So, all over the map,

here." Right? So, all over the map, they'll show up. But you do have to be zoomed in to see them, right? You zoom

out too far, they'll go away. And that

goes for a lot of icons on this map. If

you're really looking for something to do or you're looking to see what you missed, zoom all the way in because the second you zoom out just a little bit, look how many activities disappear that you can't see. One little zoom out. and

they're all gone. You zoom out farther, more disappears. So, really focus on

more disappears. So, really focus on keeping yourself zoomed in when you're really trying to clear an area. Then the

next button here is the different sex that you could join. This is just another way of getting into the sex menu that you can see right here. Sect

overview. Boom. You can see all the sex here as well. And then we have this right here, which reveals every NPC on the map. So, you click on them. Revered.

the map. So, you click on them. Revered.

Revered. Revered. And then you can see the ones we don't have revered with. We

see these guys right here. we're just

friendly. So, their icons aren't showing up on the map. That's one way to kind of see who you have and have not interacted with yet on this map. And by the way, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Leave them down in the

comments below. And I will read and

comments below. And I will read and respond to every single one of them.

That's just something I do with my beginner guides. I try to make sure that

beginner guides. I try to make sure that you guys are taken care of. If you're

struggling, if you're confused, I will come back and help you out. If you don't believe me, ask a question and find out.

And like I said at the beginning of the video, if there's anything in here that you're confused on, just watch this video again while you're playing the game, and you'll be amazed at how much you already remember and how much new

stuff you pick up because learning all of these things is just a little bit easier. If I explain something to you

easier. If I explain something to you after you've done it a few times, it's real easy to kind of fill in the missing gaps in your understanding of it. So, I

highly encourage you to listen to this again while you're out collecting oddities or way stones or, you know, anything else in this game that's just a nice chill activity and you want some background noise on. Hey, here it is.

And finally, if you made it this far in the video, let me know down in the comments below. I put a ton of effort

comments below. I put a ton of effort into making these videos. It's a lot of time recording, a lot of time editing, and it's always nice to see who made it to the end. So, leave a comment down below letting me know you made it, and

I'll be sure to give you a massive thank you in the comments. If you're not sure what to do next, maybe check out one of my other Whereins Meets videos popping up on screen right now. Massive shout
